$30 Lobster Roll, “The Best On the Island” was underwhelming - Not allot of meat, what there was were tiny pieces and no chunks. ?

A theme I found in Martha’s Vineyard was the feeling of being rushed. I ordered their lobster roll. The cashier rung me up. I wanted to add a soda. He rang me up again and then I decided I should get a water. The cashier rolled his eyes harder than a heavy rock rolling down a steep hill. While I get that I didn’t order everything at once. It’s my first time here and I was looking around. The lobster roll was good and apparently a small bag of lays potato chips are included. I am glad I tried it not sure I would want to try that again. One waterOne sodaOne lobster roll $44.69 (with a $5.83 tip included)

Food, service, and vibe were phenomenal. They were very accommodating and served the lobster roll on gluten free bread! All of the food was great... would return!

Extremely average. Chicken sandwich was mid and the bacon looked microwaved. Grilled cheese was stupid small for $14 and greasy. Would skip this place even if hungry, keep walking

We had a really good lunch here last week. Lovely friendly staff and food made to order quickly. The veggie burger and egg sandwich were delish! We'll be back ??Vegetarian options: Veggie burger

Good street food for the area, could be better. Prices are extremely jacked up unfortunately, and lobster rolls are so-so.

This used to be one of my favorite places to go to. Every year I would look forward to this place opening for the season. I went there on Sept 2nd, 2022, around 8 am, for a breakfast sandwich. There was no line at all. Sadly this place has gone downhill. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel, and my mum ordered a sausage egg and cheese. When I got home, upon opening the sandwich, I thought they had accidentally given both of us a sausage egg and cheese. I am plant-based, so I gave it to someone else in my home to eat, but they realized that the egg was burnt to the point that it looked like a sausage. I'm disappointed to say that Macphail's has gone downhill. A burnt egg should have never been placed on this sandwich. Instead, I will recommend Rosewater on Water St. it's open year-round and so far has not disappointed.

So I went to MacPhrails to purchase a cinnamon roll, pay cash the counter Clerk took my cash , gave me my change then she held my food with her hand, when I ask if that's is my food and why is she holding it without a gloves or paper? She told me she uses hand sanitizer!! I told her to give me my cash I don't need it!! That is so gross!! Will never ever go back there!! I will let my friends and family know!!

Best and LARGEST lobster roll on the island. Hefty warm roll filled with chilled, large chunks of lobster salad. So amazing I wanted to go back for another. If you really want to treat yourself, get the frozen Arnold Palmer (frozen lemonade with iced tea) or the old school Stewart’s root beer.

This was the worst food I have ever eaten and to top it off it was over 50 dollars for 2 people where the amount of food could have fed a toddler and the quality could be served to prison inmates.

The breakfast burrito with the thousand island sauce (aka MacPhail's sauce- you have to ask them to add it) is literally the best on the island, cannot recommend enough. Apparently they have other good food as well but they could have a one item menu and it would still be worth it. Seating is serviceable but there isn't a ton and the outside isn't in the shade, so maybe grab something here and walk somewhere else nearby.

This little spot has fantastic food. Lobster roll - very good; breakfast burrito - excellent and fried chicken - great! Everything comes with the ubiquitous Cape Cod chips. I’d recommend
