Amazing atmosphere and cocktails. Food could be better
The general vibe of this place was nice. Post dinner sushi / fish is a must for me. I liked that there was heat lamps for the chilly summer evening. The waitstaff were attentive and quick. Great place for friend date or date night.
However, I was quite underwhelmed by the food, especially given the price for plates. I understand fresh means higher quality but Lordy $22 for a California roll is aggressive surcharge. Especially because the roll was barely filled. Sigh. The ceviche was also quick pricey and honestly needed more salt, red onions and lime. I like the wonton chips that came with it. My cocktail did not taste like any alcohol, which was disappointing too.
My husband and I had lunch here with our 3 year old and really enjoyed it. Fun ambiance and attentive staff. Food was excellent as well.
Came here for lunch on Saturday afternoon with a large group. The hostess offered us two seating options which was great. Service through the meal was attentive and the vibe here is super laid back and nice. The menu is a touch limited and the portions were on the small side. Good option for lunch or cocktails in town, probably wouldn’t come for dinner.

This place is easily my favorite on island to grab a drink and experience a vibey night. I first came in 2021 when they opened, they’ve expanded their footprint a lot more. Madia(?) was our server she was super sweet, quick, and attentive. My husband and I came for nibbles and cocktails before dinner. You need to make a reservation ahead of time as the place is super busy but worth the planning ahead. The menu could expand a bit and probably should have more traditional rolls, that’s my only knock on it. Otherwise I cannot wait to come back.

Great drinks, love the vibe. However, when first ordering they let us know that they were out of the main menu item we came for - the crab Rangoon dip. Sure, happens. We then ordered our apps/meal and were periodically updated that each menu item ordered was now out of stock. After an hour and a half we were let know that the restaurant was out of rice and most had ordered sushi. Leaving sad and hungry

We didn’t eat. Only cocktails. And this is now our favorite place on the Vineyard for drinks. Cocktails are exceptional and so is the service.

The sushi was outstanding especially the spicy tuna crispy rice. The hostesd Danica was friendly but the true standout was Jordan who came over to make sure the suchi and drinks were excellent. We had a friendly chat and were impressed with her high energy, customer service and commitment to excellence!!

My experience at the Pelican club was amazing. Everything was top tier. The ambience has a luxurious vibe, atmosphere was great as well. The whole restaurant is covered in comfy chairs that feel like sitting on a cloud. Manager Jordan was extremely helpful, kind & greeted us as soon as we walked in, providing us with all the information we needed. Ivo was our server, he is the funniest, kindest guy & he made us feel very special while we were there. The food was exceptional ! If you visit the Pelican club, a must try is the Edgartown sushi & crispy rice spicy tuna. The cocktails were delicious as well. I’m definitely coming back to this wonderful place. It’s Marthas Vineyard’s hidden treasure.

I recently dined at this restaurant in Martha's Vineyard, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever had. The service was abysmal from the moment we walked in. Despite having a group for dinner, they were unwilling to add a chair to our table, even though the restaurant was practically empty. Instead, they shuffled us to a series of uncomfortable benches that made it impossible to enjoy our meal. It's safe to say I did not fly into Martha's Vineyard expecting this level of incompetence and discomfort. Avoid this place at all costs! To make matters even worse, our server coerced us into moving to this new area by promising that it was "much bigger," but in reality, it only had two ridiculously tiny tables that made it impossible to actually eat any food. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. What's more, they were unbelievably pushy and greedy, trying to force us to order drinks and appetizers despite us firmly stating multiple times that we were happy with what we were ordering. It's clear that their main goal was squeezing every penny out of us rather than providing a pleasant dining experience. This restaurant's tactics and service are a disgrace, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
