The sever from Brazil had amazing service during our lunch! I would definitely recommend that you try the lobster roll and fries. The perfect spot to try on our vacation!

I'm sad to have to leave a review like this for the restaurant that used to be a favorige for my husband and I but after our dinner last night, we won't be coming back for a while. The servers are always generally nice and ours was last night other than the multiple times we were asked about whether we wanted drinks from the bar; the issue was with the food. Their food used to be so good! We decided to go for our wedding anniversary after not having been for quite a few months between taking care of our kid and work schedules; anyway he got the burger and I one of the new pizzas and both were super salty and left us with a weird feeling in our stomaches. The new white pizza is too salty and has a weird sweet taste from the caramelized onion (like they actually added sugar to caramelize them or something), the white sauce was underwhelming, salty and the crust (other than the outer edge) is on the thin side, much like a bar pizza. The prices also imcreased which was discouraging (thankfully they do the half peice apps and specials nights which helps) but the quality no longer matches the price which is unfortunate as it was always a favorite prior to getting married and having kids. I really hope they turn it around but until then, we won't be making frequent visits to eat.

We eat here pretty much 3-4 times a month, not a lot but enough to be a routine. We ALWAYS get the Goombay smash, we always get a pizza. The best drinks, pizza and service. Our server (Jess? I feel bad not remembering…I blame the amazing drinks lol) Me and my fiancée love this place.

We were a party of 7. Meg our server was so friendly and knowledgeable, she patiently answered all our questions. Food was absolutely phenomenal, to look at and of course to eat. We ate a variety of different dishes with each being mouth watering. Portion sizes were larg enough that we all had leftovers. Atmosphere was good however not handicapped accessible in the least. Not only does one have to go up steps to enter the establishment, one has to go up 2 flights of stairs to get to the dining area. It's a pity a physically challenged person might miss out on the delights of the restaurant. I'm handicapped myself and could barely manage so felt it important to mention.

We made it before 5:30 for half price apps. The chicken wings, poke nachos, and clam chowder were all delicious but the best part was as our waitress, Megan. She was very sweet and gave us a list of things to see while visiting Martha’s Vineyard and we stopped by almost all of them.
My wife and I had lunch at Rockfish today, and it was honestly one of the worst service experiences we’ve ever had. When we walked in, the hostess at the bar didn’t greet us — just stared until we asked if they were serving lunch. She eventually sat us behind a brick pillar, and our server, Brad, came by once to ask if we were ready. We said we needed a few minutes, and then didn’t see him again for forty. Only after I called out did he return, admitting he’d forgotten about us because we were “in a different area.”
It took another 10–15 minutes for two beers to arrive, and by then the place was nearly empty. When our food was delivered, my wife politely asked if her tacos came with fries (since they were listed under sandwiches). The man — possibly the owner — replied, “They do not,” and walked away mid-sentence.
When the bill came, the restaurant was quiet, yet Brad said they’d “run out of leather sleeves” and handed us the check loose. We still tipped 20%, but only out of decency. As we left, the hostess looked us in the eye again and said nothing.
A truly disappointing experience from start to finish.

Food and ambiance were great. The bartender could definitely have had better service. We’ve gone out to eat 5 nights per week for the last 40 years and every time we order a grilled chicken breast to go for the dog - never an issue. Bartender wanted to charge us $34 for a chicken breast and send it with a Ceaser Salad as there was “no other way to order it” even though grilled chicken was on the menu as an add on for $14, which we would have gladly paid. Instead of selling a piece of chicken for $15 you got a 3 star review for poor service. Only time in 40 years it’s been an issue.

We got in no problem during prime dinner time for party of 2. Food was great! Lobster rolls & filet mignon. Our server Emily was great. Something to keep in mind, downstairs dining area is very loud. If you don't like that vibe, maybe ask to go upstairs. I am definitely going back when I head back to MV next weekend!
