Got here just in time ! Shops and restaurants are starting to open up for the season so we had the island all to ourselves. Although It was a bit nippy, we enjoyed the sunshine during our walks through the sleepy towns - spotted Rockfish and because I was craving a lobster roll - in we came ! The roll was delicious, my husband's fish and chips crunchy and flavorful- our gracious server was HCristina (think I spelled that right) from Serbia and she was just charming and fabulous! Great meal and wonderful service!

Fantastic food!! What a gem!! It's pretty spendy but worth it. $15 fries!! But as a fry connoisseur, they don't get any better. The best fish and chips I've ever had, awesome pizza (wood oven!), and great service.

Came here in a cold and rainy night. Rockfish made up for everything. It has 50% taco night. Did not sound as exciting initially. But oh, the food is sooo good! We had cod taco, Cajun shrimp taco, and lobster taco. All strongly recommended. Everything deserves a 5 star. The house special margaritas are super good too. Even without the 50% off still 5 stars.

We went here in February and this place is still dishing out the good food. We both had lobster rolls which were $30 each, which is reasonable. They give you plenty of lobster rolls. My one critique was that the fries were good but they're shoestring fries and I wish they had been thick cut. The bar hosts a full selection of domestic and local draught beer as well as mixed drinks. There is a wood fired pizza oven that we will try next.

This was once a GREAT restaurant. The new owners have ruined it. I gave them two chances. Once in the summer, and once last week. The food quality stinks now. Once A+, now a C at best. They also took away all of the high end alcohol. I am assuming this is a money making decision. This was a staple for us. Every time we visited. Not only one of the best restaurants in Martha's Vineyard, but one of the best restaurants anywhere. Now its over. On the other hand, the owner is a smarter man than me. The place was packed. Good for him, i guess. But I will never be back. Very, very, very sad.

Liz at the upstairs bar won us over with her infectious smile, and perfect espresso martini. 11/10. We can't wait to come back and see her!!!!

There was no wait, we were seated upstairs right away. Great town view from the window where we were seated. Our server showed up very shortly after we sat down. She provided us with good and efficient service. We had the Risotto Balls and Burrata for appetizers, they both were delicious. All of our dinner items were well presented and very tasty. Would highly recommend the Rockfish restaurant in Edgartown.

Amazing jumbo lobster roll, risotto with scallops and ribs. The buffalo cauliflowers and truffle risotto balls where great apps (heavy though, so just one of them is enough), but don’t get the Tuna Poke Nachos – overpriced and not special at all.

Had to go in because other places were closed and we were starving. The owner was in the house and he is beyond being the lovingest "bad boy" in town. He is shamelessly proud of his stupid good food and coyingly professional and playful staff. Seriously. The guy is so full of himself he doesn't have ONE bar. HE HAS TWO! Beautifully stocked and tastefully laid out, you can be loud and obnoxious downstairs, or classy and lush upstairs. Their calamari took the prize during this visit. Plump, juicy, crispy. I'll tell you what they were not... GREASY. Good food, great people, lovely vibe. Worth bumping into this place, and telling the owner that his attitude is shameless... serving stupid good food with the nicest disposition and chest puffing pride. Jeeze... And I thought people on the vineyard were supposed to be stuck up, not wise assed! Way to go people!
