The Fish House

Both steaks that I bought were poor quality despite having 50 dollar price tags. The fish can be fresh sometimes.

Great experience food delicious and fast!! Absolutely recommend!

Got the fish and chips for lunch today:
Pros -
Great fish. Cooked perfectly
Great fries
Prepared quickly and texted me when to come inside to pick up.

Cons:
Up charge on sauces. $1.25 for a kens tartar is $$$. Only 1 small sauce included.
Terrible slaw. Wet purple cabbage for the most part.

The fried clams here are absolutely elite - a delicate crispy batter and the freshest clams. The lobster roll is a league of its own - has celery and is slightly more mayo-y than others but I think it’s absolutely delicious, one of my absolute favorites and I’m very picky about my lobster rolls. The lobster roll and clams may be a little smaller than the gigantic options available elsewhere, but to me quality is more important than quantity. Top notch, I wouldn’t leave the Vineyard without these two of my favorites!

Ordered the cold lobster salad roll. The picture shows it about 4x larger than the actual product. $27 for 4 bites on a lobster roll is insane

I’ve had nothing but the best, freshest food from The Fish House.
Love this place

So disappointing. Fried clams were full of dirt and the clams themselves and portion were so small. Chowder had barely any stock and what I could find were minuscule pieces of potato and clams...barely visible. Caesar salad had powdery cheese sprinkled over romaine and no fresh pieces of cheese. Shrimp were not even tossed in the salad but placed separately to the side. The dressing was thick and seemed to be store bought. Steak sandwich was so skimpy and barely covered the roll. Go to Giordanos or the Lookout to get value and quality. 1 and done for this family. Save your money.

I love this place. I come here every time I'm on the island. Great fish, great shellfish, great meat, great cooked food. Friendly staff. You really can't ask for anything more!
