The service is stellar. The ambiance is upscale yet comfortable. \n\nThe food is not quite as good. We ordered raw oysters 4/5, fried calamari with banana peppers 3/5 (more calamari less banana peppers, even though the peppers was the tastiest part), chicken sandwich 5/5, and catch of the day scallops with risotto 4/5, and Dubai cheese cake 3/5. \n\nGood cocktail, beer, and wine choices.
We came for dinner on a Friday around 630 with no reservation and got seated right away. We got the oyster appetizer to start which was delicious. I got the tuna and crunchy rice appetizer. The tuna was good, but the rice was a little too crunchy. My wife got the burger. For the money she said it was standard. Fries were okay. For dessert she was excited for the Dubai chocolate cheesecake, but it was underwhelming. The kataifi and pistachio bottom was hard. Cheesecake tasted okay....
We arrived on a quiet night in October and were immediately able to get a table for four. Jovana was our waitress and she was kind and efficient. Our entrees were nice and decent portions. We had the curry bowl, halibut and fish tacos. The key lime pie for dessert was also good. The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant, though it does get quite loud. It's a nice casual spot and a good place to meet out with friends.
