Went here a couple of weeks ago on an early Saturday evening with my boyfriend who had heard the food was great. I was skeptical because it was almost empty. We saddled up to the bar and met Billy the best bartender and server. Great food and old school atmosphere. Came back tonight and felt like we were regulars ?. Billy even remembered our names! The stuffed mushrooms app was amazing , as well as the reuben and wedge salad w/tips.

American Chop Suey/Goulash. The thing of stoner dreams. Absolutely divine, comforting, and I didn’t talk but once while eating this, lol. All I kept saying was, “mmmm” and grinning. Haha. Most excellent. Keep up the delicious work! ??????

Stumbled on this place while aimlessly wandering. Had the special - pork dinner. Two large, thick pieces of pork, mashed potatoes, sweetcorn and gravy on the side. Pork tender and juicy with delicate Italian (?) herb flavour coming through - fantastic. Plus a couple of nice ales to wash it down. Pretty quiet for a Saturday night, maybe busier for lunch?

Everything we ate was fantastic. The wings were flavorful, and crispy. The chicken cavatelli di Napoli was tasty with a tiny bit of kick. The pizza was great. Staff and atmosphere were also very enjoyable.

This place is a hidden jem. The food is delicious, from pizza to Italian to fish specials. It's all very good, and always fresh and hot. The bar tender Billy is the best!! Remembers everyone's name and drinks, great person. We love this place
