Dining method: Counter-serve (inside of Aeronaut brewery)Item(s) ordered: Pabelon Vegan arepaSpeed: Was prepped immediately and was done within 2 minutesValue: at about $10 (including tip) for this arepa, I'd say the price was worth the productThe Review: YES, is all I can say. With vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options galore (including desserts), Carolicious is awesome. Especially in a brewery, where wheat is the name of the game, I didn't feel left out for a second at Carolicious Aeronaut. The arepa and all its fixings were divine. I will absolutely be back for more.

Fantastic arepas, love that they have them at Aeronaut-- it's the perfect size for when you're drinking and need a little food :)

It was difficult finding this place, but as it seemed to be the only place in the immediate area with any Vegan options, I found my way there. Upon entering, I encountered an atmosphere that was part bar/hangout, part sports activity venue (there was actually some sort of tournament going on at the time,) with food service appearing to be an afterthought, from a corner all the way in the back. I wasn't expecting much but ordered the Bowl Pabellon Vegan, which was surprisingly very tasty and satisfying. Would I come back? No - there are plenty of excellent Vegan places elsewhere in Boston - it was just late and I didn't feel like taking public transit at the time. Good to know this is here, in case any other hungry vegans need a meal!Pros: Tasty and satisfying!Cons: Extremely noisy

Cool spot. They are located inside Aeronaut Brewery. The Sitting areas are outside and inside.I got the pabellón beef arepa. It was good but the portion felt a bit small for the price. Almost $13.All in all, good service and what I got was good. Not many choices on the menu and drinks were purchased at the brewery.

Seriously insanely good arepas. Probably the most reasonable prices I've seen in the area as well. Very filling and tasty. The bowls have plantains at the bottom which I was concerned about, but were delicious. The pico was very flavorful and fresh. Generous servings of meat (which was very flavorful). Also, the restaurant is connected to a beautiful brewery and chocolate maker, so you can grab a beer with your meal. The lady who prepared our food was also very sweet. This would be on my must try list for any Boston trip in the future, wish I lived by something like this!

Very good food but since they are not going to open on Sunday mornings, you stop and instead of eating at home you go and buy a couple of empanadas

Seriously insanely good arepas. Very friendly service. Really cool space - both indoor and outdoor. We decided to sit outside and we were given a number and it was delivered to us outside. Two arepas came to around 20 dollars. Both came with a delicious spicy salsa like sauce. I looove Venezuelan food and this place hits every mark. Definitely worth a visit!

It's inside Aeronaut brewery. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I got the Pelua arepa which was stuffed with meat and cheese. It's absolutely going to be a messy bite.

Carolicious is one of the stands at the Aeronaut Brewing food hall here in Somerville. The key offerings are arepas (pockets made from a bed of maize-based flour and stuffed with the fillings of your choice), bowls, and tequeños (sweet little dough sticks). I've had my share of arepas before - and I've even made them during Covid thanks to a Yelp zoominar (yelp.com/biz/yelp-virtua… ). So I was curious to see how the ones here looked. At $11 for a fist-sized serving, my pabellon (spicy beef, black beans plantains, mozzarella cheese) arepa wasn't cheap, but it was still a compact burst of meaty, fruity, and savory flavors all in one. A nice snack to go alongside a beer from Aeronaut but not necessarily meal-sized unless you have a modest appetite. Still, a most welcome choice to have here at this food court since the ingredients are real and recognizable. Sure beats fried foods or the ubiquitous burgers and pizze.

Tough to find and not a lot of street parking. But the food is worth the slight inconvenience. We had the pork arepa and pork bowl. The black beans go well with the plantains and sauce. Pork is slow cooked and a mouthful of deliciousness.Take a trip to Latin America via Carolicious.
