I had really horrible experience with this Bakery. I really don't recommend any one this place. I ordered a Cake for my friend’s birthday and I did ordered a week ago. They took the payment and all and on the day of birthday they would call me and say they don't have that size and If I still want the cake I will have to take bigger size and also pay extra. I am mad angry rn with these people. The whole point of ordering a week ago is to make sure you have the cake on time as you wanted it to be. That hospitality was not enough they say if you want refund Imma need to drive all the way down there. Bottom line is they ruined my day.

I have ordered here few times since it’s local when I need something really fast. This past delivery my scali bread was old, rock hard and stale. Have never seen anything like this. Being an italian myself it’s a disgrace you screw up bread. The staff said it was freshly made, but what a scam. Go check out other Italian bakeries and know the difference of true freshness! Plus, I have seen no gloves when they touch your bread. Watch out!. Not acceptable. Very disappointed overall. Would also never order cookies here. They are so dry and old. Do yourself a favor and go to a real Italian bakery where they pride themselves on quality and customer satisfaction. Try Elm St bakery in Everett, Torretta’s bakery in East Boston, Mike’s pastry and Luberto’s pastry shop in Revere, you won’t be disappointed. Will never order again here!

I ordered a black forest cake for my daughter which looked amazing in the pictures on their website. However when the cake arrived, it was a completely different looking cake, the icing was different, there was no chocolate mousse in it as mentioned in website description and the worst of all, it was FROZEN! The icing was ice! After defrosting it, the cake tasted even worst! Never ordering cakes from this bakery!

Delicious, affordable (I bought two cupcakes, a slice of cake, a smal canola, and a pastry for $11.50), parking, and spacious inside. Plenty of seating, also, including a little nook with sunlight and flowers. I will totally be back!

Continental is a great Italian bakery. Love the Italian rum birthday cake. Cannoli, lobster tails, baba rum, all delicious and reasonable prices. Crazy what people will pay just a couple miles down the road in the north end when they could come here and feed an army for what they pay at the more well known Boston bakeries. Ignore the idiot who complained about deposits on orders. He’s the type who would probably stiff them.
I ordered a birthday cake through Uber Eats for an instant delivery. Price was reasonable and they provided a complimentary service to write "Happy Birthday" on top of the cake, which was lovely. The cake came in a neatly wrapped box and tasted very good! I'm a happy customer ?
