The food was amazing and the decor inviting. We had a good time. The lady serving us was nice. There are however some principles of bar tending and restaurant service that should be reviewed. I strongly recommend this place as it was one of the best experiecences at a Haitian restaurant I have ever had! Great job!

Friday night, walk-in with a group of six. My biggest complaint was the volume of the music. We walked in at seven and it was blaring up upon entrance. It was hard to hear each other, even when you were sitting right next to each other. We had to yell at the waitress while she visibly had a hard time hearing us and had to ask us to repeat ourselves several times. It obviously affected our order as she got our drinks order wrong. I rated the food at three only because we just ordered appetizers which I will admit was tasty however, because of the music we did not order, more drinks and mains As It was an unreasonably loud dining experience. Great music but too loud to even enjoy it. Also the art on the wall what beautiful.

Are you guys the same La Perle from Stamford, CT? If so, are you guys ever coming back to anywhere in CT? Stamford is tough but I really think you could do well in Bridgeport like the way “In The City” is and you’re way better than them.

The atmosphere was great, the staff were pleasant and hardworking. The owner was extremely helpful, kind, sweet, and accommodating. Now let's talk about the food chefs kiss. Everything was very seasoned, portion size was huge and presentation was pleasing on the eye!!! Will definitely visit again.

I ordered something simple. Fried plantains and fried pork. I specifically asked for the plantains to be thin and crispy. The waitress confirmed it would be thin and crispy. It was an Uber disappointment when the plantains were thick tasteless and not crispy in any way. I should of spent the $20 dollars elsewhere. The place was not busy. There was no excuse for not providing what I asked.
