Get your Pakistani cravings satisfied at this spot! It’s a humble, family-run business with delicious, authentic flavors. The owner is kind and welcoming. Service could be a bit better, and they do add fees on top of fees, but overall it’s worth a try if you’re craving good Pakistani food.

Authentic Pakistani Punjabi cuisine! The owner Irfan is from Lahore and certainly knows good food. This is probably the best Pakistani food in all of Massachusetts.
Weekend brunch is reasonably priced with plenty of variety. Mutton payai are as good as you can find anywhere in Lahore, and beef Haleem is a close second. Brunch has halwa puri, Nihari, rice and other dishes as well. Menu changes occasionally. Brunch buffet includes tea and sweet lassi.
Among grilled items (not part of the brunch), I like boneless chicken tikka and chicken seekh kababs.

I had the worst experience at this restaurant. The only good thing was the barbecue. I ordered Chicken Karahi, but they served me Korma instead. The Nehari was full of chili and was cold, as if it had just been reheated from the freezer. There was no fresh food at all. For dessert, I ordered Gajrela, which was just boiled carrots with sugar; it was very pathetic.
The manager's attitude and behavior were also terrible. He acted like he owned the place, didn’t listen to our complaints, and never came to check on us. To make matters worse, we were overcharged, so make sure to check your bill before you pay. The manager added an extra dish of mutton without our consent, and there was a 3% fee for using a credit card as well as compulsory service charges—even though the service was terrible. The staff never came to us; we always had to go to the counter for water and drinks. I definitely won’t be returning.

We ordered from Mano-Salwa because it is halal; we ordered a large catering order for 45 guests. We were very disappointed - the chicken biryani had miniscule amounts of chicken, and majority of the rice was left over. Not a good value for $. We had to order pizza to make up for it! Unacceptable.

Rarely write reviews, but from the moment I interacted with the owner, you could tell they were a bit.... off. To get the gist, all you need to do is read through their responses to other reviews, because they're like that in person, too.
Given how important public ratings are to businesses these days, most any business owner could figure out rudeness=bad reviews=loss of future revenue. So blowing up at the slightest bit of constructive feedback is an interesting strategy, to say the least.
I recommend reading through the owner's responses and considering whether you want to support somebody like that before you decide on going here.

Chicken Kadhai was good with garlic naan .. But biryani is not good .Definitely biryani was not up to the mark .Its tasteless from my point of view . I felt like I was eating blank pulav ..Plus they take service charge of 18 % for (lunch ) default in the bill . plus if u have to swipe your card they add extra fees. The fees for card swipe was first time i faced in a restaurant.Definitely not worth it .

I went to this restaurant yesterday and got chicken and beef chapli kebab and it was really good. By the way the response from the owner to the one star review is very badass I say do what ever it takes to protect your business these desi people you will never be able to satisfy them if you make the best Pakistani food in the world they will always have something to complain about.

The food is delicious. The service just needs to be paced up. The rest is 10/10.

I’ve been coming to Manosalwa for their chicken tikka for years (at the Somerville location). Heard good things about the nashta at this new location but unfortunately was disappointed.
Price: $19.99 + 18% service charge + 3% card charge + tax = $26/head.
(18% service charge for a buffet for a party of two)
Food: 6/10. The Nihari was cold-ish, Naan had been sitting for a while. Puri was fresh. Overall for food, not bad but not great either (as they used to be)
Atmosphere: Disposable plastic spoons and fork, foam cups for hot tea, good attempt towards a nice restaurant environment but lack of upkeep or cleaning. For $26/head I expect better.
It’s unfortunate that we don’t have a good Pakistani restaurant in the Boston area, which combines good food and good service+atmosphere. We need a Zareen’s like concept in Boston that I can proudly recommend or take my non-desi friends and coworkers to.
Edit, after owner’s response on 10/8/24:
Dear sir/madam,
You can disagree with my feedback (maybe I have high expectations), but please don’t attack anyone personally (especially your customers). This just reflects poorly on your business. I wish you well.

There is 18% service charge which is automatic. I am ok with that as you can skip the tip then. My only suggestion is that the brother is doing it without telling and it can make his whole earning HARAM. He can do it but should display everywhere in the restaurant that he will charge 18% service charge and remove the tips box from the cashier counter. Otherwise I fear as his whole business might be unlawful in the according to Islam.

This place has likely the best Desi Pakistani breakfast brunch in the Boston area. Their Halwa Puri, Aloo, Lahori Channa, Mutton Paya and Beef Nihari are delicious. Combine that with sweet lassi or Warm Chai and you got a complete feast for your tastebuds. At times, I had mixed experience as well with food. But with dearth of good Desi restaurants in the region, this place stands out.
