I’ve brought my pup to Park-9 several times, and unfortunately, he’s been repeatedly targeted by the same two Basenjis who shows territorial aggression near the benches where her owners sit. During my most recent visit, she bit my dog again while he was playing with another dog. Multiple staff and patrons witnessed this—including Park Rangers who acknowledged the issue—but instead of addressing the aggressive dog, I was labeled the problem and asked to leave after verbally defending myself from an intoxicated man who got in my face and raised his hand at me. My dog showed no aggression, yet we were removed because the drunk said nothing happened. When I clarified that my dog was a six-month-old puppy, one of the other patrons’ husbands turned to me and yelled, “Watch it.” This was after his wife had screamed at me that my dog was the problem—despite not even being able to identify which dog was mine. It was an inappropriate and intimidating moment, and no staff intervene on my behalf. This isn’t an isolated incident. Reviews show a clear pattern: inconsistent rule enforcement, aggressive dogs allowed to stay, and retaliatory treatment toward guests who speak up. Disappointing and unsafe. People of color are not safe here. They will use your outrage against you.

Hi! We have been coming to park9 since you opened. We had not been there for like 8 months and came back a few weeks ago with Mia our 8 yr old english bulldog. I was a little nervous because Mia had not been there for months and I wanted to make sure she was comfortable. As soon as we came inside she saw Brandon. He was so happy to see her and she was so happy to see him. It was very nice. Brandon is a really nice guy and is great with all the dogs and people but him and Mia get along so well and he is so great with her. Just wanted to let you know Brandon is great at his job.

Updated: I am not using my name as I am working for another company and don’t want your retaliation. My videos speak for themselves as proof of employment with Park9. Instead of shrugging this off do better for the dogs especially the small dogs who don’t want to be there!! Get rid of the dogs who start fights daily and be honest with owners since we got in trouble when we tried to be. The owners are hardly ever in and everything falls onto the staff who work long hours for bad pay.

As someone who has worked here caring for your dogs, do not send them here. It’s chaos from the moment the doors open until they close. There are way too many dogs and not enough staff. Every dog is enrolled (good, bad, aggressive, humper, chaos starter) Staff is burnt out, dogs are just another almighty dollar. The amount of fights that happen weekly being swept under rug, pet owners have no clue what their dog has gone through. I wish Google gave me the option to post videos because I have too many to share. You’re small dogs would rather stay home then sit and shake in corners :-/

Our got gets Giardia ever time we go here because of the public water bowls. It is sickness that causes severe diarrhea and needs to be treated with medication.

My ask, get rid of the open water bowls and leave that up to the owners. Dogs are off leash so it is hard to try and control where they go.

Last time we were here my wife and I were super strict on watching our dog and he still snuck in 1 slurp of the shared water. That was enough to give him Giardia again.

Suggestion, can you get rid of the water.

Park-9 is our pups favorite place to go. Always have a blast seeing the variety of dogs. Love the dog vaccine requirement, and trained bark rangers. Drinks are good, mocktails a bit expensive, new pizza is ok but salad is not worth it.

We planned to come to this place for a few weeks and we're very excited. I called ahead and asked a worker named Sam, of what I need to bring. I was told make sure you bring your leashes. we looked at the website scrolled down and it looked pretty good. So we traveled a half your and got dropped off there on Saturday evening the 16th of August. We go inside and thats when I see a sign immediately stating that dogs must have all 3 vaccines records present. I asked Sam what this means for us. All are dogs are vaccinated of course but we do not carry our records in our back pockets, lol. She asked if we had papers on us, I said no we do not. I told her I see a big sign here but it isn't very easy to find on the website anywhere. Only when you scroll down where it says register dogs. You need to put it at the top of your website. Ive been to many mnay gog parks and restaurants where tou dont need proof of vaccinations. Rules are rules but please do better and state the obvious. I felt that it was a hook and sinker kind of deal, Website looks great and nowhere is there a spot when scrolling about vaccines but upon entry at the building it is right in front of you first thing. We explained our frustrations ans made it known that we had made a trip just for this place. Sam just daid ill let the owners know your concerns and this has been a very helpful opinion. You can do better, this csn be handled better.

Used to love park 9 until they rolled out their kitchen. Walked in today with outside food which they have always allowed only to be turned away because they now have a kitchen and no outside food because of dietary restrictions.. what does that even mean? The kitchen also has a very limited menu. Terrible.

Fantastic bar! The dog play area is carefully monitored allowing humans to enjoy while their dogs play. Staff are monitoring, breaking up fights and cleaning up messes wherever needed, promptly and responsibly. They also have numerous food/beverage offerings for dogs. My puppy loves their doggy beers!

I’ve been here for a private event and just as a common customer and the experience with the staff was phenomenal both times. They really care and love dogs!

The drinks and food for humans is a plus. I did not expect much, but loved the cocktails! The pizza and snacks are pretty good too!

Amazing place for the dogs too chill out off leash while their owners relax. The food and drinks are good. Obviously the primary attraction is not its food and drinks. The best part are the on floor marshals who are competent, confident and fun. They managed to keep the peace in the mayhem that comes with hundreds of doggies of all sizes, shapes colors and temperament around. hats off to them!
