We recently dined here during Harbor Hour, and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming across the board. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, the service was slow and the staff lacked warmth or attentiveness. We ordered from the Harbor Hour specials. The fried calamari and the mussel appetizer were highlights. Both were fresh and well-cooked. However, the positives stopped there. The seafood stew entree was disappointing and not at all what we expected based on the description. The bread served with it was rock hard, and the seafood selection was questionable. Instead of the promised shrimp, scallops, clams, calamari, and mussels, we received a small half piece of scallop and chunks of unidentifiable fish. There were some mussels, clams and calamari as well. Whether this was due to ingredient substitution on the Harbor Hour menu or a mistake in the kitchen, we weren't informed, and it affected the overall experience. I am not a huge fish fan, so seeing fish instead of scallops was a major letdown. Another entree we ordered, the fra diavolo, was advertised with lobster and shrimp. It arrived with shrimp only, not a single piece of lobster. This lack of transparency was frustrating and felt misleading. On a more positive note, the baked haddock entree was well-received, and while the salmon was cooked fine, it didn't stand out. The dessert, small brownies was the final disappointment. They were flavorless, and one person in our group even had to spit it out. We weren't expecting much out of these but was hoping they were at least enjoyable. Overall, we left feeling frustrated and misled. If the Harbor Hour menu differs significantly from the regular menu, guests should be made aware of that up front. At nearly $400 for our group, the value and experience simply didn't match the price. We won't be returning. thankfully, there are plenty of other dining options at Encore.
Unfortunately, upon arrival, one of the hosts was not helpful. We told her we had a reservation for Old Wives Tale and she did not take us back there but rather brought us to Seamark. Not the vibes we were hoping for.
Had a great time. Staff was wonderful. Beautiful table and soft music conversational. Food was Awesome. Great lobby and entrance.
We've dined here before and always had great experiences, but this visit was very disappointing. Despite an empty restaurant, we were made to wait until the exact reservation time to be seated. Service was inattentive—our server ignored our table while frequently checking on others, which made us feel uncomfortable. Room-temp sodas, cold entrées after a long wait, and a dismissive manager who awkwardly patted my friend on the back and said “sorry” added to the poor experience. Only highlight was the focaccia (minus the hard hummus). Sadly, not the service we expected on a special night.
I don't like the fact that you don't have the liberty to choose your table. The hostess is not friendly. Insisted that I didn't a reservation. I have to show my confirmation from opentable.the food is so so... won't come back.
Seamark Seafood & Cocktails is absolutely amazing! The seafood is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the cocktails are perfectly crafted. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for any occasion. Definitely one of the best places to enjoy delicious seafood
Tried this restaurant a month ago on a date. Loved the service, ambiance and food. We didn't realized that they were celebrating their 1 yr anniversary so they had some specials. We surprisingly won a $100 voucher since we ordered oysters. We planned to use this for another date night since we enjoyed our experience. I decided to celebrate one of my girlfriend's bday this month. We were a party of five and even asked to be moved to a bigger table as we know we typically order a lot. This time, they were running $1 oyster. We've placed our orders-drinks, apps and entrees. We were seated in the dining area. Niraj, the server was amazing. Momentarily, a white male manager approached us aggressively and condescendingly. His approach and comments were so unprofessional as if he's scolding a group of ladies who are unable to pay and trying to scam them. We didn't know that the $1 osyster special was only available at the lounge area. He exclaimed that this time he will allow but if we try again next week he will not. He stressed this multiple times. I would have walked away at that point but we didn't want to ruin our friends bday celebration. I called to ask for this managers name. With the description I provided, I was informed he's the Asst General Manager named Christian. He ruined our experience. I don't even think I'll ever come back again so that $100 voucher we won will go to waste. I wish I had it with me this visit so I could have just used it already.
Super fun speakeasy behind secret door at Encore. The drinks were pricey but high quality and worth the price. There are no meals for purchase but there are a few apps. Food was small plate apps and also very good
It is a good experience but service is slow. We enjoyed the $39 special but it wnda@6:30pm.
Music volume could have been a little lower but the selections were great and fit the ambience.

The manager, Christian, is so rude I will never return. I called as our big group made separate reservations and I wanted to see if it was possible to sit near each other. My friend called first and was confused, so I called again for clarification. They started with “As I explained to your friend” which was unnecessary, then said there needs to be a 15 minute gap between when parties sit which is why they can't guarantee we can sit near each other. I was still confused and said our reservations were at the same time that is why I don't understand the waiting period, to which she said there is one bartender and the drinks take 5-7 minutes to make. There is nothing wrong with them not being able to accommodate us sitting near each other, that is obviously why we weren't able to make a big reservation in the first place, but the attitude was unnecessary. 2 of our parties arrived 10 minutes late because there was a lot of traffic outside of Encore, and our other friends were running late due to a work emergency so I let the hostess know to which she said that it was totally fine and thank you for letting me know. One party goes into the speakeasy, we sit to wait. At 9:20 Christian walks up to us and says “I don't know what is happening with your friends but if they are not here in 10 minutes I'm giving up their table” and I replied saying their reservation was for 9:15, thinking he was assuming we all had reservations at 9, and he repeated himself. I then said I already told the hostess and she said it was fine, to which he said “I don't care what she said I'm the boss here I have a business to run and a waitlist” and just hovered over us making everyone uncomfortable. Rather than get aggressive with people who are already there, I would think he would give that reservation a call. He kept staring at us the whole night. There were 2 tables open after our parties sat, so I felt we could've sat together. Drinks were overpriced ($28) and I waited 30 minutes for water.
We went to seamark TWICE for their Dine out Boston menu and it was amazing food for the price! Really great job advertising your restaurant through an exclusive Dine Out menu separate from your regular menu. It was good quality and great portions with good value!
Very consistent good service great food good drinks probably the best restaurant in the casino.
Manager was extremely rude, condescending and unaccommodating to our group. We were lectured like school children prior to entering the speakeasy about behavior to “uphold the ambiance.” We had 3 reservations of 4 starting at the same time, and were not all allowed in. Management made it difficult for us to enjoy ourselves. Unfortunately, he ruined our experience. I'd also suggest making the music a bit more longe-esque and less like I'm sitting at Margaritaville in Key West.
We went to the speakeasy on this particular visit, and as usual, it was fantastic. We had some first-timers with us, and they absolutely loved it, and they will also be back. I want to thank Matthew for going above and beyond and fitting us for a table for five when we only had reservations for four after running into a college roommate after 20 years.
