I was having the kind of day where mascara and tears are best friends.
My boyfriend says, “Let’s go to Square Deli.”
Best decision ever.
That hot, steamy meatball sub hit the table and suddenly life wasn’t so bad anymore. One bite and I swear my mood reset.
Therapy is great… but have you tried a Square Deli meatball sub? 😌🔥
His steak & cheese was just as unreal.
10/10. Emotional support in sandwich form.

Their steak & cheese on a seeded roll is one of the best deals around. Real ribeye, real bread. Total bargain and a must get.

The line was queued up out the door. A gentleman came out with pizza and offered some free slices to those of us waiting to order. The food speaks for itself, but the hospitality made all the difference. This place is very much worth the wait.

Very small it has a few seats I'm definitely a social media sensation place the sandwiches do live up to the hype that you see on tik Tok I recommend eat them fresh like right as you after you get them you bring them home and try to reheat them they're not as good as when you eat them when you got them I tried the steak and cheese it was the bed was very good very well cooked tastes very flavorful

Humble place. Good pizza.

Sorry your service was terrible. Cheese steak was average and nothing new compared to other places where they do ribeye with Cooper on seeded roll.
Response: That’s correct — the order was placed at the register, not online. Typical response to dodge responsibility for bad service. Grow up, learn to be accountable, and apologize — which I’m sure you were never taught. You’re welcome.

Philly native who moved to the Boston area and let me just say this is the closest thing to a cheesesteak from home that I’ve found in New England. Very inspired by Del Rossi’s and Angelo’s, both the pizza and cheesesteak were phenomenal. Chris was awesome and was shooting the shit with me about our favorite places in Philly and best ways to get the same quality up north and overall was incredibly welcoming and helpful to all customers. Safe to say, I will be a regular here from now on.

That South Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was definitely the best sandwich I ever had.
I know that sounds pretentious. But it’s true. And I’m not even a steak & cheese kind of person.
But this sandwich had it all. Starting with their homemade seeded bread to the exact ratio of beef & cheese that should exist on any cheesesteak sandwich to the PERECT heat delivered by whatever those peppers were…
I’m in love with a sandwich… and then there is their incredible pizza as well. You gotta check this place out.

I just googled the place but my husband went there and bought us some of their rib eye steak bomb subs and oh my goodness talk about tender, juicy, really good quality meat. It melts in your mouth. I don't want to steak sub from anywhere but this place!!! I don't think the picture of the sub that I saw does the sub any justice, it's all in the taste. You'll thank me later!!!

Massachusetts has pizza in bars, Roast beef spots, mom and pop shops and pop ups and grocery stores like Whole Foods. Square Deli is top tier and it’s a spot that’s worth the reviews and a 1hr drive. If you’re a pizza connoisseur you know my first sentence means it’s good to find a store front with a true love of pizza making that can compete with hubs like NYC and New Haven. And there’s sandwhiches are bomb, it’s no steak bomb it feels like I ate a Philly joint.

They have great food, specially their steak and cheese subs. This would be a 5 star review if it weren’t for the fact that they seem to never be available for online ordering (pickup or delivery) and have odd operating hours. The restaurant is already kind of out of the way being all the way in Everett, treking all the way over there just for them to be closed is really frustrating and they dont make it any easier by only accepting orders in store. Ideally they would accept delivery orders. Long story short; great food but they need to make themselves more accessible
Update after owner reply;
thanks for the reply, i can see with the rest of the reviews you try to be responsive.
That being said, your reasoning doesn’t make much sense to me. As i said you guys could benefit from having more accessibility minded policies. Prioritizing your long time neighborhood regulars is all well and good, but how much of an in person rush can you have when you can only fit 8-10 people maximum in your dining/waiting area? Also pretty much every other restaurant is open on Monday’s, I completely get employees need time off but maybe that should be looked at as a staffing problem, hire an extra crew member or two to improve operating hours. Just saying, Tuesday to Saturday isn’t the norm. And as for closing online orders, i think you may either be confused or whoever is running the online terminal hasn’t been honest with you, tried ordering both this past Friday and Saturday between 1 and 2 and orders were not being accepted. I even waited because on slice it said you’d open orders at 1 pm, as soon as 1pm came it flipped to saying orders would open at 2 pm. So maybe check that the info in your reply is accurate. I get that yall are a small business and i want you guys to keep winning, your food speaks volumes, but everyone needs to evolve to survive at some point in life. All the best
Pretty flawless all around. The cheese pizza was super flavorful and the dough had a nice tang to it. Cheesesteak was delicious and the bread was softer than I was expecting and so so good. To top it off the cookie was soft and delicious.

Honestly the only reason why I tried this place is because my wife told me they went viral on TikTok so I had to try for myself and I wasn’t impressed, this place is not bad but there is a place in San Diego ca called Bronx pizza that taste way better.
