Barrett's Alehouse Fall River

We ordered two Portuguese steak meals to go last night- seriously delicious. Still hot when I got home to Somerset, gravy was amazing and the steak was incredibly tender.

My husband and I went to Barrett's this week end for dinner. My husband has Parkinson's and I just had foot surgery. We had the pleasure of having Zack for our server. He made sure we were comfortable with our table. Our food came out hot and delicious. The coffee was fresh and hot. Thank you Zack for taking such good care of us. You are wonderful.

Very pleased with the service and the food. We had the crispy pork belly along with the Mac and cheese and the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Witches Brew cocktails.

The wings tasted really bad. Regrettably, I took them home with me. It made my car smell like wet dog. They went straight in the trash when I got home. Even at $.99 on wing Wednesdays they are a rip off. It is obviously a terrible quality product they start with.

I've been to Barrett's a couple of times and the service is always excellent. Sometimes the food does take a little while to come out but they are pretty busy also so it is expected. I usually get the wings which are really good but I have also had the burger and steak tips which are also excellent. The arcade is always a fun way to keep the kids entertained while waiting for food or afterwards.

The food was good and other tables appeared to be served with a smile. Unfortunately, our server was rude, particularly in the way she slammed down our plates, after we had waited more than 30 minutes and after having spoken to the manager. It seemed that she became angry with us when we said that we wanted to share an entree. We tried to give her the benefit of the doubt assuming that she was having a bad day, however she was all smiles for the surrounding tables. We have never had such a bad restaurant experience in all of our travels in 49 states.

Awesome place! Excellent burgers, but I got the second burger for 3.00 but it didn't work out the way I expected. The sandwich was too thick to eat. I thought the burgers were going to be smashed.
The Fries were first rate.. loved them!
