If I had the option, I would have chosen 3 3/4 stars. Our food and service were very good. The restaurant is kinda by its self in a somewhat industrial area. I've eaten here several times previously over the years. It has consistently been delicious food for modest prices. But the other night I noticed that prices have risen about 30% in their newly priced menu, so the grilled salmon dish that was $20 is now $26. That's a rather dramatic increase, and this increase holds true with all other mains as well. Caldeiras continues to have wonderful mid-week specials, with many choices and a bottle of wine. But for dining out at other times, there may better choices, at least, value-wise. As an aside, they have only one salad choice with either a honey mustard dressing, or oil and vinegar; a few more choices would be a good thing!

Would NEVER recommend this place. 10 before we were given menus. Then 20 minutes before drinks arrived (and I ordered water). 15 minutes later came bread. Then 45 minutes before meals were brought out. We were s large party with reservation at 6pm. Didn’t eat until 8:15pm. They don’t break up checks and they don’t do the special dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine for groups over 10. Our bad waitress was terrible

Going down hill. This use to be one of my wife and I favorite places. We went the other night for the 2 meals and a bottle of wine. They went up to 45.00 which still is ok. My little guy usually gets the kids chicken tenders. They did away with the kids menu so the only thing he wanted was chicken parmigiana which is new ( at 28 bucks!) I got the pork and little necks( only 3 little necks!) I think the son is now running this restaurant and not the father. We definitely will not be going back again.
