If I had the option, I would have chosen 3 3/4 stars. Our food and service were very good. The restaurant is kinda by its self in a somewhat industrial area. I've eaten here several times previously over the years. It has consistently been delicious food for modest prices. But the other night I noticed that prices have risen about 30% in their newly priced menu, so the grilled salmon dish that was $20 is now $26. That's a rather dramatic increase, and this increase...
So much better looking in side then you could tell from outside... the dinner for two special Tuesday through Thursday is a great value. The food is plated beautifully and great quality great wine and great service.
My mother and I have been going to Caldeiras once a week for over a year . Food, service , atmosphere and espresso martinis are exceptional. Love Love Love the portuguese style liver and onions. French fries are perfect.
