Family dinner on Saturday after Thanksgiving. Restaurant was not busy but food was great. Pasteis de bacalhau were very well made, although light on bacalhau. Bacalhau Barca was very good, octopus lagareiro was tender and well seasoned. Bacalhau à Bras and steak Barca were great as well. Good Portuguese overall, deserves a return trip to Fall River.

Absolutely love this restaurant! Food is so good (thank you to the chef... Maria, yes?) !!!!! Drinks are tasty (thank you Louis, yes?) and service (Melissa) was excellent. Our Boston friends announced how much they enjoyed and we need to take them again! But of course, we'll be back sooner than that!

I'll start by saying it is a great presentation. Very clean and elegant. The drinks are great. We had an espresso martini, Super Bock, and of course some Ginjinha. The food was absolutely delicious! From the fresh bread and cheese, to the rack of lamb, and my favorite, the francesinha! We cannot recommend this place enough. We will return!

The ambiance is inviting. The staff is welcoming. The service is impeccable. The menu is exciting with a good variety of traditional dishes. And the wine and food is indescribably delicious. Like in the movie Nonnas, you would Vovo was in the kitchen cooking up this delicious feast? We sampled a variety of dishes and everything was prepared to perfection. We were in the area for an event, but definitely worth a ride from Boston!

It was our first visit to Barca. We had Fish Croquettes and Batca Garlic Shrimp for appetizers which were delicious!! My husband had a special of a type of patella and I had the Bracalhau a Braz. Just like I remembered from Brazil!! We would highly recommend this place on food quality, authenticity, service and ambience!! Cannot wait to go back!!

I had the Portuguese steak, my husband had the whiskey and espresso steak, both were cooked perfectly and had plenty of flavor. The cheese and bread to start were just right. Service was friendly and food came out quick for the love that was clearly put in. Espresso was great too.

We visited on a Wednesday and were the only couple there at 6 pm until two other couples arrived about 30 minutes later; so it was very quiet. The menu choices were abundant, and our meals were excellent (Barca Seafood & Polvo a Barca). Service was friendly and timely. Yes you do pay for the bread and cheese that they offer when you sit down (just like Portugal!). We enjoyed chatting with the owner about Portugal. Definitely worth a return visit when we are in the area again in the future.
