It was our first visit to Barca. We had Fish Croquettes and Batca Garlic Shrimp for appetizers which were delicious!! My husband had a special of a type of patella and I had the Bracalhau a Braz. Just like I remembered from Brazil!! We would highly recommend this place on food quality, authenticity, service and ambience!! Cannot wait to go back!!
I had the Portuguese steak, my husband had the whiskey and espresso steak, both were cooked perfectly and had plenty of flavor. The cheese and bread to start were just right. Service was friendly and food came out quick for the love that was clearly put in. Espresso was great too.

We visited on a Wednesday and were the only couple there at 6 pm until two other couples arrived about 30 minutes later; so it was very quiet. The menu choices were abundant, and our meals were excellent (Barca Seafood & Polvo a Barca). Service was friendly and timely. Yes you do pay for the bread and cheese that they offer when you sit down (just like Portugal!). We enjoyed chatting with the owner about Portugal. Definitely worth a return visit when we are in the area...
