With my extensive experience with seafood, I possess a keen ability to recognize outstanding fish and chips. Unfortunately the fish and chips I had at David’s Market in Fall River was not one of them. David’s fish and chips was a recipe for disaster, not dinner. I walked in and saw a stack of fried and dried out fish, already prepared and wilting under the glare of a heat lamp. I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt so I ordered the fish and chips and they handed me the pieces that had been lingering under the heat lamp for an eternity. Fish and chips are generally considered a made-to-order dish. Preparing them ahead of time and holding them under heat lamps for hours can cause the fish to become dry and lose its flavor. Most restaurants usually prepare fish and chips fresh upon ordering, avoiding heat lamps in the process, but not Dave’s Fish Market in Fall River. I guess they care more about quantity than the quality that they’re feeding their customers. I swear, every other place I go to for fish and chips gets it right, they cook it fresh and don't leave it sitting under a heat lamp, slowly losing all its moisture and flavor like David’s Fish Market does. 🤢🤮👎

I love their fish and chips. I always make baked stuffed shrimp for Christmas, but when I get fish it's also from there. Always fresh great fillets as are the scallops and shrimp from David's.

Best fresh seafood place in the area. Lobsters, littlenecks, clams and fish you name it it's always fresh. On Friday's my son and i always order the fish and chips and it's delicious.
