I visited Duke’s Bakery in Fall River for the first time and was really disappointed with the experience. When I walked in, I wasn’t greeted, even though there was only one other customer there. I ordered a small coffee, two muffins, and a steak and cheese sub, which came out to around $40.
The staff member who helped me was rude and dismissive, even after I mentioned it was my first time visiting. When I opened my food, the sandwich was messy and falling apart in the container, which made it hard to even eat. For the price and reputation, I expected a much better experience.
I always try to support local businesses, but unfortunately, this visit left a bad impression and I don’t plan to return.

Small gluten free bakery with great service and food. In warmer months you can sit outdoors. I've enjoyed both the treats and food here. Might be a longer wait on busy days, but it's worth it!

Went in just looking for some baked goods and didn't realize how much they really had to offer! Can't wait to go back so I can try more of their menu!

The restaurants is open and inviting, so nice to have outdoor seating overlooking the water. I met my daughter there and regret we came too late for food. I bought some pasta to go and had a delicious coffee along with a couple of pastries before they were packaged for the night.

We booked Duke's for a brunch event. We were looking for a medium-sized, family-owned place and found the perfect restaurant with Dukes! We could not have been happier with the food, the service, and the overall experience. The members of our party who are GF, dairy-free, or vegan were beyond thrilled as everything was delicious, clearly marked, and safe for them to eat. For the rest of us, it was eye-opening as to how delicious an entirely GF kitchen can be: the french toast, bagels, scones, and muffins were outstanding! I can not wait to get more of the pumpkin muffins. Their entire staff were kind, courteous, thoughtful and polite, and the outdoor seating was a great bonus. They also have spacious, clean & well-maintained bathrooms! I would book them again in an instance for catering knowing they are a great team with fantastic food who all work hard to please their customers. What more could you ask for?

The food truck had delicious items. Had the truck at a grand opening celebration. Would 100% request them back.
I decided to stop by for treats for the family after seeing online. It was hard to find the entrance as its in the back and tucked away. But as I entered I was impressed by the atmosphere and set up. I waited for about 15 min as the woman at the cash register was having conversation with a friend and didnt even acknowledge me. I ordered my desserts and have to say they are all very pricey. Now I can understand cupcakes etc but $5 for a brownie was little steep but figured ild try it. When we got home and tried them I was very disappointed and will never go back there again. You can get the same items minus cupcakes at Leddys for several dollars cheaper and taste a lot better. Lesson learned but not worth it at all
Great place! I'm not gluten free, but really enjoy eating here and am grateful to have a good place to bring the GF people in my life. Nice options, big portions, reasonable prices, and an extensive bakery. Great customer service. They seem LGBTQ+ friendly and decorated for Pride.
They’re an amazing restaurant
