Had a wonderful dinner here with my wife. Showed up without a reservation and we were seated immediately despite the restaurant being filled. There were some great specials. I had an octopus stewed in red wine sauce with potatoes, and my wife had a steak with spicy sauce, and a side salad. Everything came out hot and make just right. The octopus was tender and rich, and her steak was cooked perfect. The servers were friendly and attentive, and despite the restaurant being ful, it never felt like we were ignored or the servers were overworked. Definitely will come back next time we're in the area.

Haven't been in marisqueira since I was a kid. I recently came back here and ordered the Portuguese steak with rice and fries. The service was timely and I didn't feel rushed. Also, the food was exactly how I remembered it- maybe even better.

Go here every week and had multiple items on their menu, everything is great. However, the best item on their menu is their octopus. It was really good and the best I've had. The service was enjoyable and food got to my table surprisingly fast, given how packed it is usually.
