Got scrod Newburgh to go....best Newburgh sauce I've ever had. Very generous portion of fish. Nice baked potato and vegetable. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! Will be ordering again for sure. Be sure you go early or order early as they close at 7:30! This place is popular with the older crowd but that is a good sign for good food and good prices. There were young families seated for dinner too which was nice to see. Love finding places open this...
Have visited McGovern’s for years, never disappointed. Wait staff are some of the friendliest in Fall River. Place has a homey feel. Highly recommend the lasagna dinner and calamari appetizer.
Great food and reasonable prices. Cheaper to eat here than it would be at other places. Great selection off everything from Italian, seafood, steaks and chicken to soups, salads, and sandwiches, and old fashioned comfort foods like the chicken chow mein sandwich, shepherd pie, and clam cakes and chowder. They also do takeout. They make the best fish and chips too. And if you like Italian try out the lasagna or the Italian sampler. Their shepherd pie sells out fast.
