Great main course ,but overpriced. No cocktail list; wimpy drinks. Sat in back with seats that had dirty cushions. Paper print out menu (been there two years? I can't tell) and no settings til we sat. Felt like we were seated in the ghetto section when the front room was gorgeous, reserved for "better people" or...I won't say it. Oh, no soup or dessert. Probably won't go back.

The biggest problem with this place was the parking which is to say there is none. You have to find a spot on the street. It took a little while for the waitress to come over but once she did the service was great. The food was very good. I got the cajun chicken penne and really enjoyed it. A couple of people in my group thought thier food was a little over cooked but they still liked it. I wish they had a better beer selection. Overall I'd be happy to go back but I'm a little apprehensive about the parking. This place is definitely worth visiting especially on a Sunday when they do buck a shuck.

Went after work with a coworker because they are from Fall River and I am from New Bedford and they wanted me to try a Fall River place. I heard the pizza here was very good so I was up for it. Got there and sat at the bar about 4:45pm and the bartender did not clean the bar for us, we could see it needed to be wiped down. She was not very friendly/accomodating. We ordered our drinks and then our food. I ordered a house salad and The California flatbread and she ordered one pork taco and The Mesa flatbread. The salad was huge and fresh, very good. Had to box it up because my flatbread came out a few minutes later. My coworker's pork taco was very good they said. My flatbread was good, but their's was not good. They had one slice and couldn't finish the rest it was that bad. It had a bit of a sour smell to it and the bartender didn't ask if everthing was alright just brought a couple of boxes. Wanted a second drink it and it took a while for her to acknowledge us. Overall my coworker was not impressed by the service or the food, and I have to say that is why I stay going to the Portuguese places in New Bedford. If I do go again, I am getting the pizza and will most likely get a table for better service.
