Again MR Chen failed on New Year's Eve I thought I learned my lesson last year but clearly I didn't. I figured to try him again. What a total disaster it was . Clearly takes on way to many orders and CLEARLY can't handle It . I guess he needs all the money he can get to pay for that fancy pool he always posts about . Stay away from this place . Give your time and money somewhere else !!

As most Americans New Years Eve tradition is to order Chinese food. I read the reviews and was so excited to try this place. I know New Years Eve is a mad house order early expect to wait no problem that’s the name of the game on this particular day. However, this was beyond ridiculous placed my order in person at 4:00pm was told it was a two hour wait totally fine. When my husband went to pick up our order after the allotted two hour wait he waited an additional 2.5 hours to get our order. No one knew how long the orders would take people that ordered later than ours were served their food 1st. After 2.5 additional hours of waiting we finally get our food and it was awful. The chicken was not fully cooked the rice was soaked in soy sauce $94 down the drain.

I had not been here for about 3 months because I moved from the area and decided to go tonight. Ordered combo rice, chkn fing, crab Rangoon, fried shrimp. The chicken was so doughy and pasty inside, I was dining in so went to front to quietly tell the cashier while asking for napkins because they weren’t on table either. She came over with a plastic bag and said put them in here I’ll go tell him. Off to the kitchen she went. About 5 minutes later she comes back with some rock hard chewy stuff. Just gross. Couldn’t tell the chicken from the shrimp. I was just over it at this point and ate my rice and two rangoons and left with my 2 friends. Waste of $20 and I will not be back. This place use to be good. Once outside the girl who waited on me said they need help in the kitchen there is only one cook. I said yeah well there should be none cuz he should be fired. And left still hungry 🤮bottom photo is chicken on right doughy and on left chewy over fried one he threw back in grease. Same ones

Dom Dom chicken stood out the most for me but every item we tried was absolutely amazing.. general tso, crab rangoons, Portuguese egg rolls, spring rolls, chicken fingers and rice.
Super clean family owned restaurant . Great display of Legos for the kiddos to look at.
Worth the drive from Newport! Food is excellent, I just wish there was more seating for dining there.

We order weekly and are always satisfied; delicious, hearty size servings and always fresh and hot! Even though we have our favorite order like General Tso (D14) with house lo mein, beef teriyaki (you get 2) and crab rangoon (a generous 4 piece) It would be nice if there were more descriptions and pictures of all dishes so we could decide if we'd like to order something new. Prices are very reasonable for the large portions you get and they have a rewards program that offers a discount. Its a win win!
Highly recommended: *Dom Dom chicken, spicy and sweet. *Coconut shrimp and/or chicken, crunchy batter drenched in sweet delish sauce. *Garlic and Shrimp, flavorful served with vegetables. *Cracked pepper chicken is phenomenal (no longer on menu) *Chicken with Broccoli and Chicken with green beans, both dishes vegetables are perfectly cooked and always super fresh!

Dom and the whole staff at Mr Chens, including delivery drivers, are always a pleasure to deal with. If something is wrong, Dom makes sure to correct it and always delivers on his word. I actually ordered really late a few weeks ago becuase I wasn't fully paying attention to the time, I contacted Dom and told him to cancel it becuase I spaced the time out, but he assured me not to worry, that it was still a go. Food is always top notch and if I have the spare change to order out, Mr Chens is my first choice. Thank you.
