We always get their sweet bread, and have for years!! Currently we live in Florida, we buy bags of their bread and bring it back, and openly grieve whenever we finish the last bag lol! Great quality at an affordable price.

Don’t be deceived by good taste. The sweet bread is loaded with carcinogenic garbage in it. Yellow #5, Carageenan, Artificial color and many more surprises. I was sick when I saw the label and will throw this right in the trash. It was a gift that’s why I have it in the first place. Buyers please read labels and don’t be deceived.

3 pkgs if Portuguese Muffins were brought to me from RI to SC....I've bought these many times before...no problems ...however, these are awful!! They aren't cooked enough....heavy, dense, and almost raw. What happen here?? Each of the pkgs might weight well over 5 pounds!!! I seriously cannot enjoy these....sorry. These muffins were bought at Job Lot in Warwick, RI...you might wanna look into this!!!

I've never actually been to the bakery myself. But I definitely will be making a stop. Every time I'm in my hometown of Uncasville CT we make a stop at ocean state job lot just for the Portuguese sweet bread and muffins. This is the only place I've ever seen them sold. We stock up on the and bring them home to Florida. They are the best. I only wish they'd shipped their items. But definitely recommend the sweet bread and muffins to everyone.

If you want really delicious Portuguese muffins , Tony's bakery in Fall River is the best I've had. Don't think that anything labeled Portuguese muffins is the same. Traveled 1 hr to come here and met a couple who had traveled 45 min. ! They used to distribute in Cape Cod but don't any longer. Just 5 min off rt 195 near Battleship Cove, another worthwhile visit!

bought loaf of sweet raisin bread, it was cut so thin it fell apart,could not even toast it, never again!

Have not been here, only fortunate enough that my local market carries some of their breads. I had the Portuguese muffins for breakfast and they were so delicious. They look delicious too and they were exactly what I expected. Very doughy in a good way.
