First time here for Oktoberfest, place was great! Some of the best Oktoberfest beer I’ve ever head. Food was decent, buffalo dip was slightly cold but I didn’t come here for the food. Great overall experience though
I have not visited this business personally, but I feel compelled to leave a review based on my interaction with the owner.
I came across a post online about a cat that had been stuck in a tree for three days. I brought wet food, treats, water, and a carrier to try to help. When I arrived, I met a woman who had been trying to get the cat rescued and showed me where it was stuck. I saw the cat—clearly terrified—high up in a tree from a nearby yard.
I approached the homeowner, explained the situation, and politely asked if I could access her backyard. She refused, saying her dogs would go crazy. I then asked if she would allow a professional to enter the yard to rescue the cat, and she still said no, citing liability concerns and fear of being sued. I told her I understood as a fellow homeowner, but I couldn’t understand how someone could sleep at night knowing a cat had been suffering in a tree for three days without doing anything.
She then asked me to leave her property, which I did—though I did express how upsetting I found her lack of compassion.
Later, after speaking with the cat’s owner, I learned that not only had this woman denied her access to try to retrieve her own pet, but she had also lied for two days, claiming the cat wasn’t in her tree. However, she admitted to me that she had seen the cat and knew how long it had been there and approximately how high up it was.
If you care about animals, I would urge you to think twice before supporting a business run by someone who shows so little empathy for a helpless creature in distress.
Awesome best brewery around!!!
Absolutely loved my visit to Troy City Brewery! I tried the Cobblestone Blueberry Beer and it was phenomenal — smooth, refreshing, and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was awesome, with a great vibe, cool videos playing, and a location that’s perfect for relaxing or hanging with friends. Big shoutout to Amy and Makayla, our bartenders. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!
Had a nice Mango New England IPA. Stopped by had nice chat with the beer tender. It was quiet but it was a Wednesday just after opening.
We love the brewery and the courtyard. It’s a fun atmosphere for hanging out.
One of the best micros I've ever had!
Recently came here for gathering with coworkers and it was great. Amie, our beertender, was fabulous and I really enjoyed the cobblestone blueberry ale- so much so that I purchased a 4-pack to-go. I’ll definitely be back!
First time here and love it!!
Nice place for a cold beer. We had the pumpkin beer which is, in my opinion, very mild flavor.
Nachos very good. Clean and friendly. Inside & outside seating.

Service was terrible. After being ignored by the bar staff for several minutes, I had to wave 2 twenty dollar bills to get someone to acknowledge me. When they finally did, she had an attitude like “ well, what do you want”. I wanted a beer. The beer was very good, outdoor seating was very nice
Atmosphere was great. Beer was good. Service for food was painfully slow for a Saturday afternoon.
Always smooth & tasty brew...
Definitely a delicious tap list. Open and inviting interior , summer in the beer garden is the best . Friendly, attentive staff.parking can be rough but this place is a true gem of the city .
Come here if you want quality beer, great music, a historic setting, and professional staff.
