This is legit sushi. Delicious, creative and very fresh. Do not let the appearance next to a gas station deter you. I recommend Umami to anyone looking for real good sushi, poke, katsu, etc.....

Don't let the location fool you! This hole in the wall sushi spot is hands down the best in fall river. I have been waiting for a spot that I could make my go to sushi and this is it. Sushi was very fresh, the rolls were consistent, and the rolls were large for the price. Will be recommending and certainly returning.

Seriously the best sushi in the area. I had my first poke bowl here and loved it. I’ve ordered large orders of platters and got it in a timely manner. Definitely a whole lot better than any similarly (and overly) priced sushi from other locations. I love the care given to all the layouts for each dish <3

Yes it's at a gas station, but don't let it fool you it was excellent, I'm not a raw sushi eater so I got cooked rolls one crab and one salmon. Get the extra sauces on the side..miso soup and gyoza, gyoza was crispy. I think after 50$ u get a free roll..they have speciality Japanese drinks...UPDATE REVEIW. My favorite item here right now is the Mexican jalapeno, deep fried,with crunchy crab and cream cheese..is the this place does not disappoint ordered dozen times and the food is consistent no matter how busy they are, they are truly artists at the maki roll, perfectly made!! super friendly too!!!

Low-key the best sushi place around. They serve great quality sushi prepared by an excellent chef! The staff is so polite and I honestly hope they stay open forever because I just love going there. At the time I’m writing this they don’t have much room for dine-in, but if you want take-out, this is the spot! Great prices too :) poke bowls are my go to!

Vegetarian options: The vegetable maki combo is more interesting than most vegetarian sushi options. They also have inari and tomago sushi as additional options.
This is my go to place for takeout in the city. It's a very unassuming place with delicious food and very friendly staff. I have tried most of the menu by now and have yet to have anything less than delicious. The soft shell crab is probably my favorite if I had to choose. I hope they are around for a very long time.
My boyfriend and I always love to share our anniversary with eating sushi and watching a horror film. We Gave this place a try after looking at the reviews. I was so pleasantly surprised by all of the food I had tried. I tried the salmon sushi for the first time as well as the tofu skin sushi. The rolls were so tightly rolled it was just amazing and the seafood just felt so buttery and fresh! So refreshing. Never go to frozen that's how places lose business KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! Also p.s. .. I love seaweed salad and I loved yours just be mindful of possible residual water at the bottom of the container going forward. But didn't stop me from eating it ! Thank you guys!

This place is so cute! It's mostly for take-out but there is a small table and my partner and I got to sit and eat there and it was like a cute cozy date! The decor is so sweet and made the whole experience so pleasant ?
The food is also really delicious and fresh ? I got the chicken katsu which was light and perfectly crispy! My partner got the house poke bowl which was also excellent, the corn and mango was fresh, the sauce was delicious, the rice fluffy, and the tempura shrimp on top was a great crunch!
