We had another experience of the Ninety Nine being great food, bad service. The hostess was less than friendly. Kelsey, our server left our food sitting under the heat lamp for 20 minutes and routinely took forever for any part of the transaction, taking our order, bring the check, refilling water, etc. We went for a quick lunch but bad service just sort of ruins the experience. I hope this improves because we do like this chain.

PAUL is the best server EVER. He remembered our order of 6 in its entirety without writing it down. He was quick, friendly, accommodating, and just went above and beyond. Guy deserves a medal!!!
When choosing a restaurant on my own, I tend to stay away from chains. However we were visiting family in the Cape and the group decided on this place. The decor was what you would expect, not the cleanest or most update, but they did have big TVs if you wanted to go there to watch the game. They give you popcorn at the beginning of the meal, which was kind of cute, reminded me of my childhood going to the Ground Round. What I do like about chain restaurants is they have their calories posted right on the menu. That is really helpful for those of us who want to try to stay on track while eating out. I ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The whole meal was under 400 calories, which can be rare to find a hearty meal with that low of calories. The steak was cooked well, a little chewy, but flavorful. The mashed potatoes were super peppery, which was surprising, not awful just unexpected. The broccoli was cold and not seasoned at all. Price for my meal was 19 bucks, which isn't bad for a steak, but still it wasn't the best. Menu had lots of options, so if we are to come again, I might try something different.

The foods good and the servers are nice but every time I've been there lately the restaurant is really messy and dirty. I get if it's super busy but it wasn't too busy. At least wipe the tables down so past guest's crumbs aren't all over

Our team rolled in here right before they closed - after driving DAYS (literal days. One of the guys had driven from TX with only 2 naps) right before Hurricane Idalia and the staff here did not flinch. They sat us, they fed us and fed us WELL, they gave us INCREDIBLE service.... I should have done this review right away, but it's been a busy work season and forgot to... but you know who didn't forget ANYTHING? Our server. He took EVERYONE'S order (everyone in the pic, with our server) at once, did not write a single thing down and got it all PERFECT. We were all so impressed. He was fantastic. Food was hot, delicious and we super appreciated the cooks staying to cook for us. My grown son had chicken + fries and I had sirloin tips - so good!
