Excellent dive bar, one of the last great ones on the Cape and in Massachusetts, or, really, anywhere. Atmosphere & ambience are excellent. Don’t let the exterior fool you, this place is cool, step inside & feel the vibe with all kinds of signage & plaques from old hotels, businesses and landmarks from all over the Cape and beyond. Bartenders are friendly and efficient. Excellent place to see a band.

This is definitely an iconic piece of cape history. As soon as you walk through the door you know this is going to be a memorable experience. The staff did whatever it took to make the customers feel like they were important and living like the locals.

i just dont go now ...... I'm not allowed to whistle or I'll get kicked out. Yep actually got kicked out for whistling in regards to a great performance by a loud band.... At 47 years old I was never thrown out or even asked to leave a bar ever in my life... And I went back to apologize, told him i won't whistle again, it was 2 months later and he still wouldn't let me back in, crazy! Well is been 13 years, I haven't seen him. So i go once in a blue moon .. not my favorite place, I use to work there before he owned it. When it had dirt floors. And you could whistle ..lol
I can’t rate the food but I came with a bridal party and these jabronies literally made the bride (35) drive home and get her id and also charged a cover charge for a band of wanna-bees…

It's just a great bar. Staff is always great. The whole vibe is just cool. Closed local business signs on the walls, and it has no windows at all. It does actually have a good selection of canned beer, too. Definitely stop in if you are in the area. They don't have food, or maybe you can get a slice of pizza some days, not sure.

It's a great local dive bar. They have good pizza too. There are dart boards, two pool tables, and you can sit outside when the weather is nice.

Unique place with old school vibes. If it weren't for being purposely set up this way, I would have given less of a rating. Cash only if you check this place out. Mainly a place for beer and liquor. I was going to play on the pool tables, but for $2 a game I decided not to.
Your standard dive bar, worth a

This place is worth a visit. So much character. Great place and the live music was super awesome. Cash only so bring the dough. Genius on tap. Stop in next time you are at the Cape.
Went here for a few drinks with friends while visiting from out of town. First impression - that it was for locals only, and that visitors aren’t entirely welcome. While I appreciate being ID’d while in my 40s, I don’t appreciate the demeanour that was taken while asking. Also, after getting a very curt response of “Guinness” when asking what was on tap, we asked what other beers were available, and got a finger point to the line up of cans above the bar as the bartender walked away from us. It wasn’t that busy with ten people in the bar, and we didn’t appreciate the attitude.
