Stopped in for a bowl of Lobster Bisque. It was served in a bread bowl which was soooo perfect and the bisque was the best I have ever had…all in all the food and experience was to die for. The complimentary cookie was a great treat! Delicious.

I know things are hard for restaurants and that as why we eat out often and tip really well. But there is NO EXCUSE for how we were treated last night. We arrived at 8:15 on time for our reservation (spoiler alert) we did not get our food until 9:30. We ordered oysters, salmon and a poor boy. After 20 min we were told they had no more oysters. Really - Epic Oysters had no oysters??? That is why we went there in the first place. We were told by a vey angry and rude owner that we came too late and they ran out and that if we wanted to leave he would cancel our order. When we said we arrived on time at 8:15 he said that we didn't . He told us we were rude to the wait staff (no we were not) and he stormed away without an apology for being ill informed. We would have left but at that point nothing else was open. No one offered us bread (so we orered some as we sere starving) No one gave us anything to eat while we were waiting, , no appologies about the wait, no drink on the house. Our wine came at 9:40 well past the time we finished the meal. The salmon was great but not good enough to stop me from writing this review. I know it is the end of the summer and we are all tired but this is not the way anyone should be treated especially locals. .

A hidden gem!!!! Amazing food, OYSTERS WERE OFF THE CHARTS, drinks were stellar, and the ambiance was close to home. Most importantly, the service was TOP NOTCH!!! Great place and we will definitely return!!!!!! Triple trifecta!

First off, the ambiance is great. The menu too many good things to choose from. Our waiter tonight Jay, absolutely phenomenal. Speaking from 29 years of restaurant working experience. We were a group of 8, 4 kids and 4 adults. The menu, so many good things to choose from we started firing off apps, drinks, kids food, entrees.
Anything we ordered didn’t disappoint. For apps we had clams casino, dozen oysters, popcorn shrimp, bang bang shrimp, Chinese spareribs, and the largest shrimp cocktail I’ve ever seen (could have been lobster tails so big). Favorite appetizer was the spareribs for sure.
Miso cod entree is a must try and a definitely need to order. The scallops were also delicious. But the everything bagel coated salmon was “wow”.
To finish the meal Jay brought out chocolate chip cookies not sure if that was a nice bonus on the restaurant or an automatic thing. But freshly baked and delicious.
Overall one of the best meals the table has had in a long time. If you drive by and don’t stop you are doing yourself a disservice.

Epic Oyster is one of my favorite places on Cape Cod to eat. The food is always amazing. This visit I had to downgrade the service because we had to eat outside in the cold and rain. They did try and call to warn us that the unexpected weather caused reservations to be delayed,but we ignored the call because the caller ID was not the restaurant. They were able to give us a table outside under the awning and promised to move us inside. They never did. The food was amazing as always.
I had the black cod special and it was incredible. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, nicely plated.
Bottom line is I highly recommend this place. If it is raining check your reservations.
The food was delicious! The waitstaff was very friendly. It’s a little pricey but it’s what you expect for Cape Cod dining. I recommend giving this place a try if you like good oysters and quality food
