I was there on 9-10-24 at 6:50 p.m. It started off bad. They had NO fish & chips. I then ordered a hamburger with bacon & cheese with NO sauce. Guess what, they added sauce, no bacon and burger was not freshly cooked. Too cold & waterly. Looks like a microwave burger. Nasty taste. I just left everything there. Even the fries wish I requested extra crispy did not happened. Fries were cold and not extra crispy. Bad customer service. I will never come back. Even their breakfast is cold. The worst place I ever been too.

I came in on a week night and really enjoyed the cozy night time vibes with the fireplace on, and had a great meal at a great price point! We ordered fish and chips, ceasar salad, pasta with marinara, and chocolate cake. The ceasar salad was perfect, I would definitely come back for this or even make it my go-to for takeout the price was really affordable! The chocolate cake was also an impressive size, great for sharing between two peoples. Our server Kendall was really personable and friendly and made this a great first experience for us! The restaurant was newly renovated and very clean, if you are looking for a nice meal at a great price point I definitely recommend!

There was no HEAT in my 1st room! I phoned the Front Desk & Maintenance man checked broken heater that could NOT be fixed. So, Maintenance man helped me move to a 2nd room that did have a woking heater. ALL Holiday Inn at Falmouth Staff were helpful & friendly!
Hotel needs updating (I think they are planning this). Shower didn’t drain properly. Water didn’t get very hot because the handle wasn’t installed properly. You can hear through the walls easily. Beds were very comfortable. There was a dirty tissue behind one of the beds but rest of room was clean. Expensive for what it is but that’s the cape.
The morning of check out we were awakened at 8am by constant drilling and construction on the roof. We were not informed of this prior to our stay, or we would have booked elsewhere. To top it off, one of our beds was covered in ceiling/roof debris that fell as we were sleeping, which is a health hazard especially with a small child laying in the bed . When reported to the manager, he would not refund the whole night for the inconvenience and only refunded 50%, initially because we had a 'discounted' wedding party rate of $26 less than the full rate, then clarified that 'they would go out of business if they had to fully refund every customer who complained, and they are not required to disclose construction work prior to booking because the hotel is constantly undergoing renovations'. That being said, if you book here you can assume that you will be met with unannounced renovations and still be expected to pay for half the night since you actually slept for part of it. The customer service at this Holiday Inn was horrible, especially when the manager defensively argues with a paying customer, prioritizing business over service/transparency.
Small menu not busy at all …staff is very friendly only ate here cause I did not want to leave the hotel today …but much better restaurants downtown Falmouth and only like 5 min car ride away

When you have a special diet to eat they do their best to accommodate I ordered the chicken Alfredo without pasta and I ended up with extra chicken instead of pasta Thank you I really appreciate it Definitely your money’s worth
Here’s the 411 on this place! I’ve been coming here for sometime now. It seems the hotel and restaurant is now under new management. They have a new Chef in the Kitchen, Chef Liam, which I have been told has a huge background in food from creative scratch cooking with a Heavy Portuguese influence! (Sounds delicious already).I came in for the shark week menu and Man it did not disappoint! The “surfing” plate is what I got that consisted of sliced hangar steak and scallops, roasted potatoes, a veggie and homemade cristinies and an aioli for dipping . The plate was huge and delicious that highly anticipated $30 dish was well worth it! I’d visit again just for the food alone! The downside was the service. It seemed they were incredibly low staffed, there were lots of guest and only one person in “the front of the house” so to speak. It took a while for guest to have their order taken, brought out etc. to I felt bad honestly for the server she seemed to be doing great but was deff overworked, seemed like she was running the bar and the dining room alone. The one person she had with her was a young boy bussing tables but wasn’t much help , I understand the restaurant business but ordinary guest do not.Unfortunately that portrays differently with different people and can cause confusion and having them think this is a bad place. All in allThe food is wonderful here and absolutely underrated. Seems as though the new chef is making much bigger and better strides than the last few. I’ve held off on writing this for months bc I like to make sure my reviews are Valuable. So I’ve been in here quite a few times getting to know the staff and understanding what’s going on like I do all my reviews. The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, not to mention big! A great place for a function. I’ve stayed at the hotel itself which is also decent. No hot tubs though :( that made me sad as me and my husband search for hotels purposely with them (more like a tradition kinda thing” get out and relax right!? The indoor pool is Very nice too!The staff is great, for the most part, it’s very welcoming at the front desk, the restaurant manager is pleasant, very understanding, (she’s there the most), I believe they only have two bartenders right now, and they are very personable! The staffing issue seems to be significant especially when the place gets a crowded, which I can see why people get upset. Don’t be them people lol no matter where I’ve gone recently EVERYONE IS UNDERSTAFFED. Recession is no joke.Worth the visit and the wait if it gets busy! Here’s some photos of stuff I’ve eaten :)
We had dinner at the Tavern on the last day of our Diamond Bus Tour. It was the worst meal of the trip! Dinner was served buffet style which infers going back for more if you were still hungry. That wasn't happening. One of our number who got a small portion to start with was turned away because she had already been served. And it wasn't that appetizing or tasty. When seated, we were elbow to elbow even though they had plenty of floor space for more tables. I will not be returning either on my own or by bus!
clean and good basics-in room fridge and coffee pot (on sliding shelf and already plugged in) , comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, really good floor lamp and chair in reading corner; three table lamps that include 5 outlets (great if you have to plug in a cpac machine) and three charging ports. Clean and good size pool. Going to an event at Coonamesett Inn on corner to Gifford/Jones streets? this is two minute walk across the street. Quarterdeck on Main St great food for good value and Jack's on Gifford deserves it's best pizza in town award.
