God I wish there was a place like this near where I lived. Had the standard fish & chips and MY GAWD it was so good. The fish was perfectly fried, and crispy The chips were thin but firm, seasoned & delicious. Paired with Magners cider chilled to perfection and it was night to remember. Will be coming back again asap

We tried the Roast Beef Club. It was lip-smacking delicious! It came with fries and they were really good as well. We sat in their outside patio area and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Vanessa did a great job of checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re in the area, you’ve got to stop in.

The only stars for this review are for the band playing live music on Friday night. Service was terrible. Had a server walk by numerous times without any hellos. Had to ask to get a server. At the end of the night lights were turned on before 1am. We were waiting for Uber as it was pouring rain outside. Bartender told us to get out. Group of 5 women. We said we were just waiting for our Uber and told “too bad it’s liquor laws. C’mon you’ve been to a bar before”. Liquor laws in MAS allowed for alcohol sales until 2am and it was not even 1am. Immediately after walking out the door the bartender locked the door behind us then continued to serve the men seated at the bar. Not only rude and disrespectful but sexist behaviour.
The flat bread pizza was just that flat, and Irish bacon isn't pieces of ham from a grocery store. If it wasn't for the Guinness to wash it down, we would have left.

Got a kids burger, shepherds pie and fried pickles to go. If I had time to hang out seemed like a nice place to have a beer watch a game or listen to live music. Service pleasant and fast perhaps too fast cause the burger is not to temp. Pie is chopped burger with brown salty gravy a few peas and corn and a scoop of mash on top. Ok but not a proper pie. My gran would not approve. Pickles ok. If I didn’t get it to go I would have gone back for my money.

This bar, is super fun on karaoke night on Tuesdays. My sister, friend, boyfriend and I were there last Tuesday for karaoke to see it. I was DD for everyone so i didn’t drink, therefore had no reason to show my ID to the bartender. Sister was able to get drinks no problem. My sister and i summer, (and have been for years) here and are from out of state. My sister wanted to take me there for my last night on the cape before my senior year for college. Bouncer recognized us and let us in no problem. The bartender, on the other hand, was rude, claiming BOTH IDS were fake with one barely scanning and the other not (my sister is 25 and I recently turned 21) For a town that tourists frequent a lot, it is extremely disappointing to have a bartender do this as well as KICK you out of the bar, and that even if our Ids were verified he “refuses” to serve us. Although i know the bar has a right to turn away customers, the way he handled the situation was infuriating. I really hope they update their scanning software because it is a fun bar, and for future reference i’d hate to bring my passport clarifying my age when their software is the issue. For people who are genuinely out of state, which is a common occurrence on the cape, an automatic limitation to their experience has been set, and for a tourist area, is crazy.
