My experience at Maison Villatte was overall quite good. We tried three different items—some were absolutely amazing, while others were just okay. However, the atmosphere was outstanding and made up for it. It really felt like stepping into a bakery in France, with its authentic charm and ambiance. I’d definitely recommend stopping by, as it’s probably the best bakery in town.
If you are in Woods Hole, you MUST go to Maison Villatte! They have the most amazingly beautiful and wonderfully delicious pastries, desserts and bread. The lemon tart is perfect. Martha and Kristine will help you make your choice if you can’t decide what to order. Martha was even so nice to give me some pointers on how to perfect my sourdough starter! If I weren’t traveling the next few days, they even offered some starter to take with me. Such a great place!
Wow. The only other thing I could say is ....Amazing. The displays are out of this world.... The taste and the flavors and the freshness is incredible. If you're looking for a once in a lifetime experience this is the place you want to visit.
