True Italian Osteria (perhaps the first) I have had the pleasure of eating in the United States. Homemade pasta, excellent ragú, grated parmesan at the table. Nice atmosphere (recommended to stay inside). Friendly service. If you want to eat truly Italian food for an evening, it is highly recommended.

Sat at bar. A bit awkward with the bartender at first, very standoffish but then warmed up. But not sure why the tude. Seems Falmouth locals don't like outsiders. Grumpy bunch of locals who don't like anyone from the other side of the bridge. Very odd town.

My wife & I just had our wedding party here. Wasn’t really a reception.
Every aspect about this establishment is worth noting. The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in Italy, the staff makes you feel right at home & they are so accommodating. The food is undoubtedly the best Italian food I’ve ever had.
They set up a delicious grazing table on our arrival. It seriously looked like a work of art. They had a bartender for our party of 18
All of our questions/concerns were answered or dealt with amazingly. We are not picky people but even if we were, we still would have been incredibly happy.
Check this place out for whatever you need. Doesn’t matter if you need to bring a family function here or a nice romantic date night. You won’t be disappointed.
We hope this restaurant sticks around forever because we will continue coming back for years!!!

An authentic and welcoming Italian restaurant in the heart of Falmouth in Cape Cod. We had a memorable family meal here with three generations of family from four countries. Our taste buds traveled from the Cape to Italy and back again! Cocktails were tasty and well balanced with sophisticated tones and flavours. Options for young kids may be limited but our teenagers were well served. Thanks to our Nanna Anne for the treat night out.

Really great dinner spot in downtown Falmouth! We were seated in the garden off to the side, and it provided a lovely ambience for an early summer meal. The homemade pasta was wonderful! Service was great as well. Definitely recommend stopping in!

Maybe the best restaurant on the Cape, and further. The atmosphere is so cozy, inviting and warm and the food and drink is unbelievable. The best pasta I’ve ever had in my life.

Osteria La civetta is such a gem! I have been four times and the food is always amazing! The ambiance is romantic and quaint. We went last night on the Fourth of July and were able to sit on their patio, which is beautiful. Last night I got their ricca salad, which was delicious. I also really enjoy their homemade pasta, which I got the night before. They had a special that came with lobster meat. Their wine selection is great. They have a wine from Puglia that I really enjoy. If I get dessert, I usually order the affogato. Last night, they brought my husband and I limoncello at the end of our meal. I highly recommend dining here if you’re looking for an amazing Italian meal.
Kid-friendliness: They made my son a special drink with Nutella and steamed milk. They also offered my kids cacio de pepe, which was not on the menu.
