I got the blackened mahi mahi baja bowl - it is absolutely incredible. Have had a lot of tacos in my life on the east and west coasts & in Mexico, this has to be at the top of the list as one of the best Ive had. The service was friendly and kind, felt like a place where locals are regulars, staff call you by name and ask how youre doing. Plus the place is super clean and has restrooms and local art on display.
Really happy to see the direction this place is going and fully endorse it for the first time years! The new (and returning OG 2007/8) management has brought renewed life this establishment. As of August 2025 the food is tasty, portions are improved over past years and lines were far more reasonable than other impromptu lunch spots in town (which I also love but not enough to brave some of those lines). Give em a try even if they let you down in the past, its a bright new day...
This summer, 2025, I’ve been loving the mahi sandwich and have been ordering it about twice a month. 😆 The flavors are awesome combination of sweet and savory and of course I always need lots of napkins. I’m totally obsessed with the sandwich and would recommend that you check out the new owners of Quicks Hole Taqueria! Yum!!!!!!
