What's disappointment. From the moment we walked in having to wait for someone to acknowledge us to the ridiculous wait times - wait staff was overwhelmed and this was off season. Brought items we didn't order and it was not crowded. The manager was non existent. Our meals came at different times. Were cold and ladened in heavy sauces - nothing that was described on the menu. Awful. Oh. And fruit flies everywhere as well. Hard pass. Never again. Cannot imagine how they will survive a busy summer season.

Beautiful ocean view. The food was ok; drinks were very good. Service was great. The music from a speaker was very loud and more tailored to a nightclub atmosphere. We asked the waitress to turn it down as it was extremely loud and we felt, not appropriate for dining.

I booked this place due to the amount of 5 star reviews but found the menu very limited (few choices) and the music in the dining room much too loud for the few tables that were in there. The view is amazing and the server was awesome, it was just the menu was underwhelming.

You cannot beat the sunset here. Excellent food and service over at The Lantern Room. Very much an elevated, relaxing experience in contrast to the usual pulse of the cape. A gorgeous view, for sure. The bar and management team were very helpful navigating the menu, and were warm and welcoming. Highly recommend the burger and the lobster roll. Will be back 100%.

The menu was very limited so choices for dinner was also limited. I had fish and chips which was well cooked and very tasty. It's basically a bar with some tables and pub food.

Our experience at the Lantern Room could not have been better. The room is beautiful; the view is spectacular; our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The food was (in my opinion) gourmet with a beautiful presentation. We (there were 3 of us) gave it the best rating possible.

Very limited menu which was disappointing and food was just okay. The dressing on the chopped salad was not good and there was too much lettuce and not enough of the other ingredients.

Our wait staff was slow and struggled to follow through with requests. We ordered a drink and had to repeat the order two more times. This happened with several other requests. The online order did not match what they had. There were three. Ew options and a two not available items The clam chowder was the best voted by two out of the three of us. Highly recommend a stop for the unique chowder

Not as advertised. We were so excited to bring our children back to the place we were married for our 17 year anniversary. We were so disappointed. Food was awful, barely any service, definitely not worth the $28pp. There is an omelet and waffle bar which was probably the only positive part of the entire “brunch”. The buffet consisted of cold scrambled eggs, barely cooked sausage and bacon and soggy hashbrowns. Could also get continental breakfast which was typical cereal and cold almost stale pastries along with old fruit. We've had better free continental breakfasts at chain hotels. Also, no alcoholic beverages until noon, also not advertised. Staff was friendly but took far too long to cash us out.

Do yourself a favor and order the whipped feta appetizer. Everyone in our party loved their entrees. Bread pudding was to die for. Great experience, service and ambiance. Will definitely be back!

Don't hesitate to join the Seacrest Hotel's Lantern Room for an oceanfront meal. Comfortable seating with the beach, literally outside the window. Service was spectacular, as was the amazing food and cocktails. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful dinner. The food was delicious. The view was amazing. The waitress was very attentive and she even brought out champagne ? for my husband's birthday. We are on vacation and the resort looked very nice.

The ambiance was great. The hostess even had us wait a couple minutes for a better seat with a view that we appreciated. It all started off pretty strong. But then the table next to us got their food first, after sitting after us. We got steak frites. It was a very small piece of steak. We waited for over an hour for our food. She forgot my side of asparagus which was fine we had plans and had to go. The food was overall good but pricey. We were there for an hour and 45 mins in all. Just two of us, myself and my 13 year old daughter. The waitress was kind enough to give her a cookie after our meal which she appreciated so i still left a 20% tip even though we were a little frustrated.

Food was delicious! Waitress recommended some alternative options when they ran out of lobster rolls, but alternative was delicious. The view of the beach is a perfect way to end the evening.

Expected more dinner options.., even a good costly steak only comes with fries. No baked potatoes or vegetable options. Fish portions small also loaded primarily buried in fries. Cocktails expensive small glasses loaded with ice
