Restaurants should know that eating out is very expensive today. Therefore customers who make the decision to eat at your restaurant expect good quality tasty food for what they charge. We ordered the fish and chips which was bland and soggy not crispy. The portion of fish was small over regular french fries. Definitely not what was expected for Cape Cod where fish is plentiful.

This is a great find. We both had the haddock platter special. One order with baked potato and one with onion rings. This restaurant makes everything from scratch. The onion rings were outstanding. The haddock was tender, flaky and moist. the slaw had great flavor - aided by the addition of celery seed. The tartar sauce is homemade, great spices, great flavor. The chowder was full of clams with seasoning that was just right. Well worth a trip here. We will be back on our next trip to the Cape.
We are traveling the East Coast from Ohio and after spending the day in Martha's Vineyard, we decided to stop in and try Seafood Sam's. We are so glad we stopped because the food was hot and delicious! I had the Butterfly Shrimp platter and my husband had the Fried Clam platter with a side bowl of Lobster Bisque and it was smooth & creamy and had the best flavor of any Lobster Bisque I have ever eaten. 5 Star meal from both of us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wish we had a Seafood Sam's in Ohio!!!

I gave this place 5 stars even though it’s obviously not a 5 star restaurant - do not expect that. This is a counter order diner style seafood place, the hospitality level was great, the food smells and tasted super fresh, prices were very reasonable. You get your order in paper plates, the food comes super fresh, nothing smelled too fishy. We have the fish and chips, the lobster bisque and a kids meal. Everything was just great. I wish the more expansive restaurants in the area will follow this place.

Best fried seafood on the Cape at half the price of all fancy restaurants. We’ve been coming here for many years and they are very consistent. Excellent place. Super convenient to have it right on the bike path.

Had the large seafood platter with oysters. All 4 of our dishes were delicious, service was good and locating was easy to find.
Food is good but the restaurant is very noisy... everything seems to echo in the place... we changed seats but it was still very noisy... even with less than 20 ppl inside

Seafood Sam's-Falmouth, September 2025 Amount of food for the price was definitely high. Ordered a combo plate of whole belly clams and calamari. The clams were pathetically small and the calamari was just ok. Asked for water and was charged for soda. The wife ordered clam strips and scallops. We could not tell if the scallops were bay or sea scallops, based on their size. This is the second mediocre visit we've had, and likely the last. Seems as though this establishment is surviving on it's name while the food declines in quantity and quality. On a positive note the cole slaw was excellent and the oil for the fried food was very fresh. There are definitely better seafood restraunt choices to choose.

Worst service possible. Food not ready by 35 minutes. When asked for a refund they did not refund the tip or the soda! Went back for the tip refund and was denied the soda refund.
