Shipwrecked? Last night on 5/25/25 our dinner experience for 3 adults, 2 children was more like a Trainwreck and getting stuck eating in the Courtyard, instead of inside, which was what we waited for, was not fun. The Courtyard is a drinking area for people who are there to drink and talk loudly, not eat. I'm a Falmouth resident of 35 years and went to British Beer Company there for many years. I went to this Trainwreck last night and will never return. We waited 50 minutes for an inside table and then got a call that if we took a table outside in the courtyard we could sit now, otherwise it would be another 40 minutes. I raised concerns because it was clearly a loud and boisterous drinker's space. That we would have to wait that much longer to get inside, after already waiting 50 minutes was not accurate advice, sadly. Outside in the drinker's courtyard five of us were put at a very small square 4 person outside table. It was not appropriate seating for a party of five and they should have known that. We were surrounded by drinkers who stood in groups right up against us, talking loudly, as though the table, and we, weren't there. One guy had his back right up against the side of my chair. A woman obliviously used the back of my grandson's chair as her armrest, with no regard that there was a child sitting in the chair eating his dinner. The service and food were both AWFUL. Two of four chowders were delivered, cups less than full, and we were told the other two were on the way. 15 minutes later, nothing. Our waitress came by and said she'd get them right away. That was another ten minutes, now 25 after the other 2 were served. One chowder was empty, no content, only one potato cube and a few clams. Half an hour later dinner came. My scallops were grossly undercooked. I told the waitress and she said "oh that's unfortunate", end of discussion. The swordfish was overcooked in some places and all but raw in others and went uneaten. The price for these meals were in the $30's plus range. The 9 year old would not eat the macaroni and cheese, said it was awful. The whole process took us over 2 hours. All this for just under $200 when you add the tip. The courtyard experience was bad enough, but add to that horrible wait staff service and carelessly prepared food. If the food could only compensate for any of this, but nearly raw undercooked food didn't make up for these unpleasant experiences. Worst dining experience I've ever had. Never again. We miss you British Beer Company. We came there for a nice holiday weekend family dinner and ended up with an expensive and unpleasant lesson never to step foot in there again. One thing that was clear was that they did not care about your experience, at all, it seemed like a processing mill moving people through indifferently.

We absolutely would recommend. The Swordfish, Cod Tacos and Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese were delicious. Beautiful view as well.

Food was good but the atmosphere was just too crazy for our family. The staff was friendly however many people were waiting for quite a while just to be acknowledged and have their names taken.

Terrible experience. Our table was not clean or bussed when we sat. After ten minutes I asked the busser to wipe our spot down. She wiped only in front of me and none of the rest of the party. She did not take away the dishes, I had to flag her back down again to ask her to remove the dishes from the last party. She took about half of them and I had to find someone else to clear the rest and still never wiped down in front of anyone else. They forgot to make my food. Everyone else had been finished for ten minutes before they brought anything to me. The worst part was it seemed like none of the employees cared. Overall it would have been easy for them to fix the situation but all of the employees were just acting like we ruined their day by showing up to the restaurant. Only good part was the food but the whole experience was ruined by the staff.

We're told 30 min. 1 hour later they split out party between 2 tables because some random guy sat down at the table we were supposed to get and only had 4 people. Then it took almost 45 min to get our food. Waitress had to be tracked down to get drinks?

Our server was great. The outdoor patio was gorgeous and the Cape Cod Poutine was so unique, New England and delicious!!!
No problems with parking and no reservation required. Service was good but my fish and chips were very so so

It doesn’t get any better than this place. The views the food, the atmosphere and the service. The place was packed wall to wall even after Labor Day weekend and it didn’t take long to find out why. I had the tuna Poke Bowl and it was fabulous. We also tried the calamari that was prepared perfectly. The views over the vineyard and the breeze when they open up the accordion windows are breathtaking. This is definitely one of those destinations that you can’t miss out on when you’re visiting Falmouth.
Melissa is a wonderful waitress. Very personable, honest, and a pleasure to talk to. Thank you for your excellent service!! We can't wait to return soon.
