The Back Room Bar & Grill

Back Room Bar & Grill in Agawam is hands-down one of my all-time favorite hidden gems. Nick and Jess are always right in the mix, behind the bar, out on the floor, working hard with their team and making sure everything’s on point. The food is always awesome, the service is top-notch, and the vibe just feels right every time. You can tell they really care about what they’ve built here. Love this place!

What an awesome find this was. We had an awesome experience tonight watching some football with a couple beers and some of the best burgers we've ever had. Erica was fantastic from start to finish. She was very friendly, made sure we had everything we needed, and was warm & welcoming to everyone who came in. We also had boneless wings and homemade onion dip w/ kettle chips which were also great (huge portions too). Thank you to Erica and Back Room staff for being great at what you do! We will certainly be back

Stopped here for lunch and had a fantastic meal. We had two amazing appetizers. Meatballs alla Nonna are a must! Soft and juicy meatballs that most importantly are not pan fried covered in mozzarella and sitting on ricotta surrounded by a fresh and tasty sauce. These were excellent and there is plenty to share. Nachos were loaded with meat and cheese. Chips remained crispy and were not soggy. Prepared perfectly! Make sure you come hungry because everything on the menu looked great.

I ordered the mama’s classic flatbread with meatballs. I paid extra for the meatballs. There was hardly any meatballs on the flatbread for the price I paid extra for. There were slices that had no meatballs on them at all.

Stopped after a very long day of riding our motorcycles, the bartender was very nice. The food did smell amazing, but all we had was drinks. We will have to go back and try the food, so stay posted for an update on the food.

One of the best places around. We go for the food it looks like plenty of people go to enjoy the bar and drinks. We have been about 10 times the food is always excellent. There can be a wait somwtimes. Most of the tables are high tops or high top booths. They have a few regular table in the back corner that are good for families with small children . Staff is always friendly and prompt. Have had a variety of dishes and they all have been delicious.

Vegetarian options: They have a bunch of salads and flatbread that vegetarians could eat.

Dietary restrictions: I think you could ask the staff about things.

Parking: There is a parking lot but it usually full especially around popular times. There is street parking right by though.

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, good atmosphere, loud enough where kids won't be annoying to anyone. It's not too loud though. Not a lot of low/regular tables though.

Wheelchair accessibility: The main entrance I don't believe is ADA but if it is it would be tough to navigate as there are multiple doors leading to a vestibule. There is a back door though and that is very wide and so is the hall it open to.

Food was great, service was prompt with a great atmosphere. Staff and owner were pleasant.

Brussel sprouts appetizer was perfectly paired with thai chilli dipping sauce. Steak tips were tender and bursting with flavor. Sides of green beans and mashed potatoes topped it off. Food was cooked to perfection.

Will definitely be back!

I have been to the Back Room 3 times. Each time I have gone I have gotten a different thing for my meal. Every single one was delicious. Erica is a great bartender and server. Great personality, very attentive and friendly, welcoming. Environment and clientele are great as well. Definitely my fave.Thanks All for the great experience. I highly recommend going.Katie Benoit

My personal favorite is the garlic knots, but they have a good variety of salads and burgers too.

Parking: Sometimes, it is difficult to find a parking spot.

First time here!! Get the Nachos!! Best ever, we got them without the beef!! Enough for 4 people. The Wings were outstanding!!Atmosphere low noise which we prefer. We will be back!!
