We got a combination chow main with hot n sour soup OMG the smell coming from the soup it smelt like rotten diapers. And the rice had a bad order almost like it was made with dirty water and the little stick things from the chow main was too stale and smelt like it was stored in a cardboard box for 20 years payed 40 for literally the worst Chinese experience of my life

What took place? You used to have excellent, freshly prepared cuisine. It's unbelievable that I spent so much money on what appeared to be just warmed-up food that was a day or two old. I'm not sure if I can still pick up there. I hate to say it, but I have to lower this place's rating from five stars to two.

I really hate to leave a negative review on a small business but I just spent $58 on food, most of which I couldn't eat. Got the shredded szechan beef, it was inedible. I ordered white rice but was given pork fried rice, not a big deal but the rice was mushy, flavorless, and the bits of pork were a very weird texture. (They do give you an absolutely massive portion of rice though) There was lettuce(?) in the wonton soup, the broth was very strange. General Gao chicken was not good, the sauce tasted burnt and the chicken without the sauce was flavorless. The Peking ravioli had surprisingly good flavor but the dough was very undercooked. The crab rangoon and spring roll were okay, nothing offensive about them but nothing special either. Massive bummer because they're super close, prices are decent, and the people seem nice. Could have just been an off night but I won't be trying again.

Ever since we moved from Florida to Foxborough in 2018, we were so please to discover Mandarin Chef. The owner, Guang, and his team serve the freshest and large selection of Chinese food. We’ve tried two other local places out of curiosity and Weill never again go anywhere else. Everything is cooked to perfection (and ever-so-neatly packaged). You won’t be disappointed!P.S. Since the arrival of COVID in 2020, Mandarin Chef offers only delivery and takeout.
Doesn't even deserve a one star. Literally place my order online. My instructions were very clear. I got a call from the restaurant. Acting like they were checking in to make sure this is exactly what I wanted when it was clear instructions. And then had the nerve to ask me if I was going to tip the driver and that the driver asked to ask me I said yes, I normally do the tipping afterwards. The man on the phone Again ask me what I wanted to do. Wanted me to add the tip right away. I told them to cancel my order so unprofessional. And the sad part is I've ordered here before and I did like it. It's close to my job but never again.

Also shrimp was overcookedRangoon was great!Lomein was good!Price was reasonable - under $20 for lunch special and small lomein.Overall not pleased taste. Will not be going back
