Shaking Crab (Foxborough)

Trash service. Went in there tonight. The woman just told us to pick somewhere to sit and completely ignored us for about 10 minutes. There was just a couple in there and they were done eating. She was in the kitchen chatting with the cook. We stand up to walk out, she didn’t even bother asking why we were leaving. Please don’t go there. I tried mobile order for a friend, the food was also low quality and tateless. There is better alternatives out there

The boil bags were really good. The different flavors they offer are a great idea. The price isn't bad either.

I gave it three stars because I’m allergic to seafood. I took a friend who loves it for her birthday. I was scared to order anything so I just had some drinks and let her enjoy her paradise so I can enjoy mine later. 😬

Fun once not twice

Went to Shaking Crab for what I thought would be a seafood adventure — and it definitely shook me (just not in the way I expected). The staff were incredibly friendly and made the experience fun.

The place is all about messy, hands-on eating — bibs, gloves, and a lot of sauce everywhere (and I mean everywhere). Unfortunately, the seafood didn’t seem very fresh… let’s just say the crab had already retired long before it reached the pot.

Overall, it’s a fun spot to visit once with friends for the laughs and chaos, but probably not one for a repeat performance unless you really enjoy seafood déjà vu.

Crab legs lacked flavor, corn was soggy, butter was bland. So badly wanted to enjoy it, but left disappointed.

I'm used to going to these seafood restaurants, and this one disappointed me a little compared to the others. The seafood didn't seem fresh, it was rubbery, as if it had gone off, making it difficult to eat, because we couldn't break the legs as they were so strange and had no crunchiness at all. Anyway... I didn't like it, I found it different from the others with the same name that I've been to, I think the franchise needs to maintain its standards.
The drinks were delicious; we ordered margaritas. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The main attraction, the crabs, really weren't good!

Stopped in for lunch today with a friend. Should have heeded the obvious when we saw the store was totally empty of any customers at 12:30. But, we stayed and and ordered lunch. I ordered a lobster roll with onion rings.....I have eaten thousands of lobster rolls in my life and I would easily say that this was the absolute worst one ever. The hot dog roll was half full of not very fresh, obviously previously frozen lobster that was actually still a bit frozen. The lobster was not really worth eating and I only took a few bites. The onion rings that came with my roll were equally as bad. Not fresh and cooked in old oil that had certainly not been changed in a long time. Adding insult to injury, they were way over cooked and black from being burnt. Finally, the service was also terrible....at no time did our server ask if we needed any thing or if all was ok. She was far to busy working her cell phone.
Unless the owner decides to change the composition of the lobster rolls and use fresh lobster (which is what I expected from a seafood restaurant, I would strongly suggest removing it from the menu....
The food was terrible, the service was terrible....I would absolutely NOT recommend this place and in fact I would suggest staying away!!!
Needless to say, I would never come back.

This place is a little different than other places you would normally go out to eat. The food is amazing! I ordered shrimp with corn and potatoes with cajun spice. It all comes in a plastic bag which is shaken which coats it in the spices. You put the plastic bag in the cardboard Bowl they give you open the bag and enjoy what's inside. The portions are very generous and full of so much flavor. Although it's 2 hours south from my house, I will be back.

Service was maybe one of the worst we’ve gotten, servers were in the dining area eating and on their phones. Multiple people in the party had missing food everything was overcooked corn was a day old and stale. Would not recommend

It's a nice place nothing really bad to say wish on the all u can eat the portions did not get smaller as you go. Both times I went not really to busy.
