The food was good as usual but the service was terrible. First was seated at the end of a table basically blocking the walk area. When I mentioned to the hostess that I was going to be in people's way she just walked away. Then 15 min later they seated the table behind us the same way so now two of us were obstruction the walk path, I had to constantly move my seat so people could pass through. Our server was slow to get to the table and we waited a long time to place our orders when there was hardly any people in the restaurant. I like this location and the food but I probably won't go back bc every time the service gets worse.

I have dines here many tomes over the years and know that it is very loud and you can almost not hear the people at your own table. However, last night the service was poor and they ran out of napkins! We were given 1 napkin for 3 people and when we asked for napkins they only gave us a few cocktail napkins. Also, they were very stingy overall with the “extras” (protein with salad, pickles, ketchup, etc). Hope this was just a bad night because it was definitely not the experience you should have when you go out!

We love Union Straw and come 3-4 times a month. We always have a wonderful experience, with delicious food and attentive/ personable staff. Tonight Anthony took great care of us and despite it being busy, he made sure we received top notch service. I also love how they rotate their food and drink menu with the seasons while keeping their classics year round. As a vegetarian, I always find something I can enjoy and my husband, who eats meat, also always find something he enjoys. Lastly, they are very careful and respectful with allergies, which goes a long way. I highly recommend Union Straw (10/10) and always bring friends and family when they are in town!

We were a family of 8 attending an event at Gillette stadium. I highly recommend Union Straw in Foxborough. Only 4 miles from Gillette. Emily was so kind and patient trying to fit our family in their busy day at the restaurant. We were placed in a beautiful quiet room in the back that overlooked the street. Lots of natural light and we shared the room with another party of 9. Michaela was our server. She did a phenomenal job serving 2 very large parties. The food was outstanding! We had pulled pork nachos that were so tasty and flavorful. Chicken wings were very meaty and so good. Our party ordered salmon, scallops, steak with shrimp, chicken Alfredo, caesar salads and crab cakes. Everything was delicious! Michaela was genuine and pleasant. Her recommendations did not disappoint. She was cheerful and efficient. She engaged in conversation and we enjoyed our experience at Union Straw. I highly recommend this restaurant!

They seemed unprepared for Mother's Day. They were out of the first three things we tried to order and service was slow. Fish had lots of bones; but they apologized profusely and immediately took it off the bill.

Disappointing Mother's Day Brunch Experience We visited for Mother's Day brunch. Despite arriving ten minutes after they opened, it took an hour before our food arrived. . When the food finally did come out, it was underwhelming at best. My wife ordered the eggs benedict special, which, according to the menu, was supposed to come on an English muffin. Instead, it arrived without one, and one of the poached eggs was cooked nearly solid—more hard-boiled than soft and runny. My son and I ordered scrambled eggs and pancakes. The eggs were clearly made from powdered eggs, like at a low budget hotel buffet. . Not what you'd hope for at a sit-down brunch. Overall, the service was good but the food quality didn't match the occasion. Sadly, it's doubtful that we will be back anytime soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed a meal here. Our server, Laura, made sure our water glasses never reached empty. All of the food was excellent. We enjoyed the Truffalo Cauliflower (full of Flavor), Turkey Burger (made fresh in house), and the salmon (cooked perfectly). The manager was helping expedite while checking on tables. The whole meal was slightly more than an hour. It wasn’t rushed. And it was packed. They were just on point. Kudos to the owners, management, and their whole staff. This was a perfect experience.
