I love Anna’s. I have been eating at their Boston locations for years. But the Natick location is comically badly run. If you have a sense of humor about it, it can be entertaining to watch how disorganized and dysfunctional it is. But if you’re hungry and irritable, it can be extremely frustrating to deal with. The food is usually pretty good.

As a longtime customer of Anna’s Taqueria—over the past 20 years I’ve visited nearly every location, including Porter Square, Davis Square, Brookline, Copley Place, and Newton Highlands—I’ve come to appreciate the consistency and quality that loyal patrons know and expect.

Unfortunately, the Framingham branch falls far short of those standards. During my recent visit, the food and service were markedly disappointing.

- The Chili Verde arrived as a single, dense lump of pork.

- The grilled chicken appeared to be stewing in liquid rather than freshly prepared. Its GRILLED chicken not SOUP chicken!

- Overall, the flavors were bland and uninspired.

The experience was compounded by sluggish service and long waits, which only underscored the lack of care and attention that define Anna’s at its best.

If I were the franchise owner, I would seriously consider pausing operations at this location until the team can restore the quality and consistency that have made Anna’s a Boston-area favorite.

For customers in the MetroWest area, I recommend making the short drive to Newton Highlands, where the food and service remain true to the Anna’s standard. Unless significant improvements are made quickly, I fear this branch may not remain viable for long.

They forgot to make queso all day then when they realized after they fully made my order they gave it to me on the side. Not what I paid for. Total incompetence at this location.

Really bad. Nothing like the ones heading to Boston. The veggies are practically raw, they gave me a teaspoon of sour cream/gauc, my burrito wasn’t even rolled (it was more like a taco), and they rushed me through everything as if there was a line out the door, (there was definitely no line), I was the only one in the restaurant.

Such a shame, I will definitely NOT be returning. Even the horchata was bad. 0/10 I do not recommend. Save your $50 on two small burritos, chips and a drink. Because this spot is not worth it. I guess I’ll go hungry because this burrito is terrible.

Wow. Uncomfortable.

I don’t write negative reviews often but I want to see this place be better. I’ve never seen a more confused staff. They need better training and management. I’ve been to the Boston and Cambridge locations tons of times and love it, but all the staff here are slow and look at you with the most uncomfortable blank stares like you’re inconveniencing them by talking to them.

The guy told me I can’t get a side of sauce for some unexplained reason, which to be honest rubbed me the wrong way. There are signs all over the place describing their signature sauces. Obviously I should be able to get a side of sauce and I know it’s free too but the dude was either clueless or too lazy to get it for me. I didn’t want to argue, just got out of there as fast as I could.

The food was actually decent but definitely not as good/fresh as the Boston locations (browner avocados, soggier grayer veggies). Tortilla was the best part.

2/5 food with 0/5 service so I have to give it a 1 star.

Hope they see this and work on this because this place could be such a great addition to the area but for now, with the confused staff, I really can’t recommend it.

I’ve given Ana’s Taqueria in Natick a few tries, and unfortunately it’s only gotten worse each time. The food is terrible—nowhere near authentic Spanish or Mexican flavors. My order was missing basic items like pico de gallo and corn, and what I did get was bland and disappointing.

Customer service is honestly some of the worst I’ve experienced. The employees were literally making faces while I was ordering, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. The wait in line was way too long, not because it was busy, but because the staff preferred to stand around chatting instead of making sure customers were actually being helped.

Overall, between the poor food quality and the rude service, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Food is tasty and authentic. They're a busy staff which leads to quick orders - in the chaos they occasionally they miss an item on the order, but they're quick to correct.

I stood in line for the 3.50 burrito for their 30 year anniversity. Hats off to the team that worked that day. I am sure there were hundreds if not thousands yet when I got there at 530 all of you were so friendly, big smiles, and so patience. I will be back, I normally went up the street to the other placed, but never again.
Amazing job Natick Store!

Chipotle has more flavor, but their quality control is terrible (sometimes way too salty, too burned, dried up rice, etc). Anna’s is a lot more consistent, which I really appreciate. Take out/delivery through the app works great too.

Thought I could skip the line and place a quicker order on the kiosk but I was wrong
They have potential to be a great Anna’s location but the wait time for online orders made in the store is crazy. Waited 30 minutes plus while DoorDash and uber eats orders were prioritized
Not the workers fault you can tell they’re doing the best they can.

I had stayed away due to some of the 1 star reviews, but finally got there tonight to try it for myself after noticing many of the 1-star reviews are from accounts without much history.

Anna's did not disappoint. I had 3 tacos - Birria, Carnitas, and Al Pastor. They were fantastic.

If you've been on the fence, check it out for yourself.
