I was very poorly treated by the receptionist, Regina, who refused to change our table, claiming that all the others were reserved—even though the restaurant was mostly empty. Despite my insistence, she seated us at the worst table available, where there was barely enough space for our family. I approached her again, but she still refused to help.
Thankfully, the waitress Gabriela noticed our situation and kindly moved us to a much better table—one that was supposedly reserved but had no indication of it. To make matters worse, shortly afterward, Regina brought in another family and, right in front of us, asked them where they would like to sit, showing complete disregard for our experience.
It was a total lack of respect for the customer. Gabriela, thank you for doing your job with excellence and professionalism.

Was good for the price. Very reasonable, but slightly dissapointing in the quality of the meats. We did the buffet and a lot of the meats from the grill were underseasoned and overcooked, steaks in particular. The chicken and buffet foods were good though. Service was on point. Our server was very quick to clear away empty dishes and refill glasses

One of the highlights of the evening was the outstanding attention provided by our waiter, Marcos. He was friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Just got in town from the airport and wanted to get a bite to eat before heading home. From the outside, Cafe Belo looked promising but once I entered and sat down, I realized I was wrong. We got seated in the very back corner of the restaurant which if I had known, would have opted to sit at the bar seating instead. The service wasn't great from the beginning but I let it go because I was hungry and wanted something to eat. The waitress brought us our drink and took our food orders. We ordered the spaghetti & meatball and the meat platter for appetizers. The spaghetti came out first and the waitress put the food on our table and didn't notice we didn't have any utensils until we asked for it as she was walking away. A lil after the meat platter came and between the two, the meat platter was better and had more flavors.
The food was good and plentiful, but the lack of service was frustrating. We ate all of the spaghetti and half of the meat platter and were ready to go. It took a while until we were able to get a staff member to help us with the check. Someone came by and took our empty plates, and then we also asked for a to-go box and the check. The staff clearing the table asked if we wanted the meat platter take out and we said yes not realizing she would take the plate away and put other dirty plates on top of it. When the waitress came back with our check, we asked about our leftovers food that we took to go and she said they misunderstood and the person clearing the table had thrown it away. The waitress went to talk to the manager and then returned to our table to give us the check As we were paying our bill, the waitress said the kitchen will make us a new one to take home and we need to wait about 10 minutes. We paid our check and left the tip and waited for our food. One minute later the manager appeared telling us that they can offer us a discount on our appetizer but I told her no it's ok, we already paid our bill and will just wait for the food and be on our way. She said the kitchen isn't making the food and that the waitress was wrong when she told us to wait for the kitchen is remaking the food. The manager said she can offer us a $15 gift certificate instead but we declined. The reason we asked for the meat platter to go was so we can eat it later tonight or tomorrow. We didn't need a gift certificate for future visits as we don't plan to return back to Cafe Belo. Hopefully they improve on their service and operations bc the restaurant has a lot of potential with the space being nice and the food is above average.
We were actually on our way to a different restaurant but we found this place eye catching, so we ate here instead. There was a buffet that day, so it was a double bonus, but the food was okay. It was a Brazilian steak house. It had great meat options. Everything tasted ok. But this place is not for vegetarians for sure.
