The food was amazing! It was our first time and we loved it. The service needs a lot of work. There was a line but it moved fast and we were quick to place our order. It took 40 minutes to receive the food after ordering. Everyone else was receiving their food after a reasonable wait time except me and the couple that ordered right after us. I had to ask at the 30 min mark and then finally received it at 40 min. We ordered to eat in but received it all in a take out bag. We ordered a #1 (received a #1 but charged a #2 on the receipt) a #3 ( but only received 1 slider, tender was missing) and a #4 (but received and extra slider). We made it work since we got the total # of chickens that we asked for and could not wait any longer for them to correct it. The dining room is a mess! We were there for well over an hour and not once did anyone come out to wipe down tables as diners were leaving. Everyone that came in had to sit at a dirty table if they wanted to dine in. An employee, in uniform, was eating at the far back right corner table during dinner rush ( Friday night 5:30). When the employee finished they also did not wipe down the table and left it dirty for the next diner. The overall service is unimpressive for a location that just recently opened (Cicero, NY). We will go back because the food was fabulous but we will not be dining in and will definitely check our order before leaving.

Super friendly and helpful customer service! I ordered for pickup @ the wrong location by accident and was unable to get in touch with the other restaurant. Thankfully the staff member who answered the phone here was very understanding, got me a refund, and assured me the food I'd ordered would not go to waste. A+ response and I will DEFINITELY be ordering again!

The chicken was so juicy and fried perfectly. Great crunch without being overly breaded. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. I thought it a little pricey for 2 tender or 2 sliders, but the portion sizes were great and left me satisfied. We’ll definitely be back when I’m the area.

I've never been to a Dave's Hot Chicken location before, but I'll surely be back. I was looking for something quick, tasty, and filling and this place fit the bill. I arrived shortly after they opened and the place was super clean and welcoming. The cashiers were friendly and I ended up ordering a #4 which was basically just a chicken sandwich with fries. Because I didn't know how hot their "hot" flavors were, I opted for the mild spice level. Unfortunately it was definitely not very spicy at all (I could hardly even taste any heat to be honest) so I'd definitely recommend ordering at least medium spiciness if you like your food to have a bit of a kick. I really enjoyed their house sauce, and it meshed well with all the other flavors going on in the sandwich. The chicken itself was tender and fresh, and although I've definitely had better chicken sandwiches, it was still good. Their fries were good too but nothing completely extraordinary. The prices were pretty high for the amount of food they give you, especially given that it's just fast food, but it's to be expected at this point.
This was my first time coming to a Dave’s hot chicken and I can say without a doubt in my mind that this is the best chicken joint I have been to in recent years. The staff were amazing and efficient, the food was delicious, and the overall design of the inside of the restaurant is incredible. The graffiti art is unparalleled. I have to make a second mention of the staff, specifically Pati. I mentioned I had never been here before and she politely and eloquently took me through the menu and made great suggestions about what to get. I wanted to sincerely say; thank you Pati, you made this experience memorable.

I went here on a whim with a few companions of mine, hoping to simply return to the feeling of bliss which I had been greeted with in my past visits. What I was welcomed with, however, was more than I could’ve ever imagined. As I took in the smell of freshly made chicken, I was greeted by our protagonist, Pati. Pati took my friend through the menu, advising him at every turn, and making his first visit magical. She provided us with quick and immaculate service. As we returned to our seats with our food, I heard her shout with distress, “sir, you forgot your milkshake.” Only to burst out the door and chase down the vehicle of the forgetful man himself. Acts of service such as this should never go unnoticed. Pati is more than just an exceptional employee, I’m proud to say that after my visit, she is a hero, an inspiration, and most of all a friend. Thank you Pati.

Excellent customer service. Place was very clean. Food was fresh and hot.I got an xxtra hot tender a medium slider but also ordered a reaper slider. Reaper slider is definitely a tear jerker but had wonderful flavor, I do not recommend if you are sensitive to that level of spice. Their fries were some of the best I've had!!!. I will definitely return
