We've been here several times never disappoint in the sausage pizza and tripe. There are so many delicious plates even the braised short rib. Quick service we've always ordered take out and it's been great.

One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to anywhere. Their shrimp scampi sauce is the best I've had ever anywhere. Everything is great, and the sauce and salad dressing are legendary. I go every time I'm back in the area.

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid. I order takeout from there at least once if not twice a week. I went to go there with a friend for dinner last Friday night at 8:31 we approached the front door it was locked even though the sign said they're open till 9:30 there was a gentleman standing at the counter with his back to us totally ignoring us when we stood for a minute didn't say a word he turned around to look at us so are still standing there and just turned around again I think it was rude and I think if you guys are going to be closing early then maybe you should put a sign on your door if they were a couple people sitting at the bar I don't know how many in the restaurant but I will not go back here again you would think on a Friday night especially before the holidays the place would be hopping not with the door locked and to get treated like that really sucks I can take my business elsewhere there's always Bella Costa Carbone's Arturo's pretzel all within an arms reach of my house so I will frequent them who are open later and we'll have their doors open not ignore a patron standing at the door

La Cantina is a great Italian place if you want something more old school. With generous portions and a helpful staff, it's a great place to go in large groups (or in my case, by myself). Food (4/5): The food is very generous. I thought a soup, appetizer (Calamari), and a main (Shrimp Scampi) would be enough, but I could only finish half of it. Price was decent, around 60 ish dollars. I really liked the soup and appetizer, but the shrimp scampi was a bit overcooked and too creamy for my tastes. Service (4/5): Service was overall great, and they even have a robot going around! I still had to wait a bit for my waiter to come and take my order however. Ambiance (4/5): If you like old school Italian restaurants with carpeted floors and large tablecloths, you'll feel right at home here. However, the vintage feel might feel too dated for those with more modern tastes. Overall a great place to go, though I would recommend it if you had a party to go with.

I’ve never seen such inattentive bartenders. Very inexperienced. Had no idea how to manage our needs with drinks, and seemed more interested in everything else behind the bar. Won’t sit there again. My wife and I stopped by for dinner - and the food was decent.

An extraordinarily bad experience at La Cantina in Framingham. Ordered two hours in advance and it wasn't ready and then a disturbing encounter with a "manager" when I had the nerve to ask how long I should have to wait when I order two hours in advance. Manager was extremely rude and said "they had other customers". But wasn't I a customer? I guess not. Everyone else was more important. I won't be back.

Foood is solid, not amazing, but solid. Waitstaff is incredibly helpful and your drinks will be delivered by adorable robots. Red sauce dishes seemed to be better than other choices- like Marsala, etc. Antipasto was a bed of iceberg with some meat and cheese and peppers on top. Tasted good but was not really what I know as antipasto. Espresso martinis were to die for.

Very decent Italian cuisine. I've enjoyed this spot for some years now. The interior has been redone fairly lavishly. It's good to see they're still a presence in Framingham.

The food was very good. Weird robots roaming around, a possible suggestion that they would like to replace all employees with robots eventually. A very unusual series of human errors allowed my credit card to be charged another party's expensive meal even though I clearly recall authorizing and signing for my correct charges. Not only did they then return someone else's card to me (I attempted to track down that person on FB) but my card was not returned to me. I called the restaurant multiple times and each time a different person was handling the mess. I repeatedly stated that they find my card and return it to me. After they located it (2 days later), and before returning it to me, and before I was credited for the erroneous charge, they thought it was a good idea to charge it one more time - this time with the correct amount for my dinner plus tip. Wow.

Tonight was our first time there and we won't go back. We had a robot bring us to our table and watched it bring other people their appetizers, alcoholic beverages and desserts. Service wasn't that great. Our waitress kept walking by but never checked on us. Salad dressing was TRASH! My chicken parm was blah. My husbands Alfredo was blah as well.
