Food is not good and the service is very slow. They lack changing the menu to better options. The hours are also very inconvenient on the weekend.

Food is terrible, respectfully.

One of the cafeteria workers fainted from overheat. The team and their supervisors just stood there. Heard that one of the workers who tried to help the poor girl was suspended. Some school....

Disappointed, the food used to be good enough but now it’s depressing. Very little variety and extremely inconsistent on quality. It makes me sad because the people who work there are so kind but this year the food hasn’t been enough to warrant the cost of $2000 a semester. Often times the only protein is chicken and low quality beef burgers.

Extremely limited options for people with allergies. Meat is super dry. Chicken has been undercooked many times

Great food value with a lot of variety and decent quality for a food service. There's something for everyone here. The salad bar is excellent. I like going for Sunday brunch.

I moved with my family to the house immediately next door to the Student Center which houses the dining commons. I have eaten breakfast here many times and often bring my kids with me. They have an omelet bar, smoothie bar and many other daily options. I really enjoy the omelets and my daughter loves the smoothies. All for $4.75! You can't beat the breakfast.I've also eaten here for dinner twice. One night they had steak tips, which were surprisingly good. They have plenty of unhealthy options (burgers, fries, breaded chicken etc.) but they do have a decent salad bar, which was pretty fresh. They also have some healthy vegan options and a section for those with allergies where the simple food is made with basic ingredients. I thought those sections in particular were pretty good and relatively healthy.I gave 5-stars with in mind that this is a cafeteria. It is not a made to order restaurant. Of course I've had better food and I could grill up a better steak (for example) than the all-you-can-eat steak I ate here. But for a cafeteria serving thousands of meals, I'm pleased with the quality and value! Finally, the staff have always been very friendly to me and my family as well. I realize that it is easy for students to trash the food at the University, but I do not think much of the negative commentary here is warranted. So keep up the good work here team! I'll be back soon.

FSU EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUC CTR REVIEW (MY opinion, MY experience 06/18-03/20) FITTING AND LONG OVERDUE Sis, DO NOT leave your baby at that day care. Typical micro aggression bs. GLARING lack of diversity. SOME Unfriendly (weird) teachers- 1 tiny ex. just say hi to the child blank stare to you. Cultural? TMorrison told us best describing this weird white gaze. During my time there I was 1:4 black families in which 2 fams left. Also the turn around-from time we began here -3 teachers left in that time frame. ?? Guys its a small program. I found myself defending us against the images they would put up in class trying to portray us only as single moms (pic hung up in the class blk mom n baby alone and another was a black dad, black baby with a random white mom-Really?!?? THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DONT HAVE BLACK REPRESENTATION IN THE CLASS. Anyway, i complained once when the asst director LIED tried to kick my daughter out of her time slot to give some other kid even though my daughter was there first and established in her schedule for months. First come first serve prog. Her "boss" was even nonreceptive. She Just sided with "karen" lies. Luckily, the university knew better and quickly intervened and my daughter stayed in her schedule. Needless to say "Karen" quit some time later. Amazing positive energy shift in the school once "karen" left. And it was FINALLY nice to see diversity in the staff at the school (after this happened. just acouple infrequent black students visits that i saw.no TEACHER or Assistant on a regular basis. Some ex. "karen" would do when i would drop and pick up my daughter: One time at drop off i saw karen grab this little girl flip her clothing label to see where her little dress was from and karen says "some moms just have too much time on their hands-something to that affect. Infront of the her "boss" DIRECTOR. I was shocked. Another time im picking up my daughter during snack time. Snacks are being passed around. When they get to this One very young child "karen" said oh just move on! With attitude Bc he was stalling, as little kids do, u know! Another time i witness "karens" impatience (more than once) towards kids. Telling one-"....if YOU had to watch this many kids..." to the CHILD "Karen" -asst dir was NOT your warm and fuzzy prek daycare teacher. To me specifically, nagger mostly. One of those ppl you see coming and you go the other way. Make little comments to entice a negative response. Again, micro aggression. They do this to us so that when we respond in kind karen plots it as angry black girl-LOL. But i was too busy working trying to raise my daughter and francly, TIRED. Plus, grace. I even "thanked" her when she left. I still regret leaving my daughter there! Esp when i think about My daughter n her scratch and being bullied by that one kid come to find out that -that same bully did it to another one of us. Sis, don't do it.

If I can give them 0 stars, I would. The food is so trash.

Framingham State is a place that has its quirks, just like every other college. I transferred here from UMass Dartmouth, which was quite a depressing and isolating campus feel. Framingham, to me, is very warm, inviting, and traditional while utilizing modern technology across campus. The classes are generally very small and most professors are very well versed in their subject matters, so although challenging, a lot of information is to be learned through practice. Yes, there is limited parking due to the size of the campus itself, but there are lots for everyone. Just be sure to ask questions on where to park and obtaining information from campus police in the correct manner. Most people are very friendly and share really great stories. It makes me sad to see people digging on the school for minor things. There is a lot to be said about the first normal school in America. There is a lot of history and heritage at the University that should be appreciated. This was one of the best experiences, as I've fostered connections with diverse and caring people. I would highly recommend giving it a chance before bashing on the minor issues that are often resolved just by communication, such as Wi-Fi, parking, and other things.
