The service and cleanliness is much better at the Framingham location compared to the Watertown location. The staff here is very kind and friendly. I saw someone eating alone, reading a book and a worker came up just to give them a free bookmark. Meanwhile the Watertown location tried to avoid giving me the promotional shirt.

Great authentic feeling sushi restaurant. Good food selection. Portions feel a bit small, but not outrageously so. Quality of food is great. The staff is excellent, courteous, and fast. There's an adorable robot that brings drink to your table. Good place to take young children, just make sure you plan in a wait time of 30-40m around dinner time.
Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and secluded booths for families with small children. The staff is very patient and understanding.

Kura Revolving Sushi in Boston delivers an unforgettable dining experience, blending delicious sushi with high-tech fun! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a sleek conveyor belt system presenting a variety of fresh sushi. The quality of the fish is superb, with each plate more tempting than the last. From classic tuna and salmon nigiri to adventurous specialty rolls, every bite is expertly crafted and bursting with flavor.
One standout is the Pikmin special, a limited-time treat that showcases the creativity of Kura’s offerings. Its unique combination of fresh ingredients and playful presentation makes it an instant favorite for both kids and adults.
Adding to the fun, Kura’s interactive ordering system lets you call for additional dishes via a touch screen, with items zooming directly to your table on a special express belt. The excitement continues with their fun reward system—every 15 plates unlocks a prize from the gachapon machine, making the experience engaging and memorable.
Whether you’re here for the exceptional sushi or the high-tech dining atmosphere, Kura Revolving Sushi is a must-visit in Boston. From its mouthwatering dishes to its lively vibe, it’s a place that delivers both taste and entertainment!
Delicious sushi in an authentic atmosphere. The sushi included nigiri, rolls, others I haven't seen before, all on a revolving conveyor belt. You can also order things specifically to be sent to your seat direct if you don't want to wait for them to come around. They have some desserts and sake also. They even have Toto bidets in the bathrooms that really make it feel like Japan. Very fun, highly recommend for a date.

The sushi was passable but not great, but I didn't have really high expectations for kaiten restaurants. No big deal. Custom orders took quite a while to arrive. Way too expensive though, for the quality and lack of service.
My big issue was with how it was managed. There were, literally, six parties waiting outside for over 20 minutes, and they had FOUR completely empty tables they refused to open, citing "management's decision, they open when it's busy". What? Why make everyone wait so long when you could easily open these tables? Is six parties waiting outside for 20+ minutes is not "busy"? It's not like it requires any staff effort, that's the whole point of the restaurant.
This was during peak dinner hours as well. Really insulting and ridiculous. I would have left immediately if my kids really didn't want to try it.
The octopus was inedible for me. Other sushi was ok.
I won't be back.

Kura is a quaint conveyor sushi bar that is always full. There is always a wait time, but definitely worth it.

We always have a blast when we go here. We went for the One piece event and sadly, they were sold out. But the sushi is awesome and everything is always fresh. They have a cute robot that brings your drinks too!

Great value for the price, it’s not going to be the cheapest or the best, but it’s better than average at an average price, it’s also a very fun experience, i never tire of the robot that brings drinks or prize balls when you hit a certain plate count
Dietary restrictions: Their website has a great reference for allergies, seems pretty Gluten free friendly
Parking: Free parking, sometimes have to park a little further from entrance during peak times but no more than 2-3 minute walk

I had a wonderful dining experience at Kura, and I have to give special credit to our waiter, William, who truly made the evening memorable. From the start, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. What really stood out was William’s genuine care for our experience. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and his warm demeanor added a personal touch that made us feel truly valued as guests. Kura offers amazing food, but William’s exceptional service made the night unforgettable. I’ll definitely be back, thanks to him!

The service at Kura was truly impeccable, and much of that was thanks to William, our waiter. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel immediately comfortable. William's attentiveness throughout the evening was remarkable—he didn’t just check in occasionally, but truly paid attention to every detail. Not once did we have to call him over; he seemed to anticipate our needs before we even realized them ourselves. Whether it was refilling our drinks, William was always one step ahead. it was his genuine care and enthusiasm that truly stood out. You could tell he wasn't just doing a job, he was passionate about creating a great dining experience. This made us feel like honored guests, and it turned an already fantastic meal into a truly unforgettable night. We will certainly be returning, not just for the amazing food, but for the level of service William provided.

If this place was any closer I'd be in so much trouble. This place is BEYOND FUN. Even if the concept intimidates you. GO. It's so fun I wish there was one near me in under a half hour drive. This is GREAT.
Vegetarian options: If you're a pesca ovo eating vegetarian you're good.
