It’s set up as a sports bar so there are big TVs at the bar and throughout the dining room. I find that distracting at best

Hello, here is my return to the pen. I went to La Cantina for a leisurely Father’s day celebration. I am a regular consumer of their Chicken Parm Pizzas and find them to be high quality. However, today I ordered Linguine with Vodka sauce. I found the flavors quite nice and delicate, but the sauce had split! At the bottom of the bowl was a small pool of liquid fat. They were further separated than Oma and Shu in the Cave of Two Lovers. Very different than the light creamy texture I expect. I should say I still enjoyed, but a split sauce is a solid B for me. My mother’s linguini and clam sauce was a bit too light on sauce as well. Combined with a robot server, which I dislike on principle, this has to be 3 stars for me. A shame for such a Framingham icon.

you took all the Italian food that made you what you were, a great Italian restaurant. Now you are just another mediocre restaurant with hummus and meh food and $$$$$ Bad choice. Where is the gnocchi??? and everyone has veal and chicken parmesan... not impressed

The food seems to have gone downhill in the past year. It was never amazing, but it was good enough. Now, some of our dishes weren't edible as the fish was way overcooked and bland. None of our dishes had any flavor. Really sad as this was a fun place to eat.
Great food, strong drinks, fun atmosphere. We eat here frequently and it never disappoints. The host Meghan, and some of the staff, Hannah and Eloise especially, are the best! Would highly recommend!

This was my first trip to this establishment, and they did not disappoint. My friends had told me about this place and brought me along with them this time. The food was outstanding, and the service was beyond compare. We sat at the bar, and the bartenders who served us were on point. Never left a glass empty long. Very friendly servers. This will definitely be a restaurant I will come back to.

Trying to re-invent the wheel with the Tavern vibe, food has gone down the drain and overpriced. I’ve had better nachos at ball parks. Way to ruin a good thing.
